timr consists of a very easy to use Android App as well a Web Application (timr.com). With the App you track your time on the go, while in the office you can use the Web Application. And the best thing is, your App and the Web Application are always in sync automatically!

A: timr is not a "standalone" app, and that's good! timr synchronizes your data with timr web application. Your data (and your employees!) are stored in ONE central location. No matter where you are, using the app or via web, you always have access to your current data. You don’t need to worry about any backup. You also do not run risk e.g. loosing your data on updating your App.
Q: Is the application free?
A: For freelancers or private use, we offer free accounts. In addition, there are premium accounts based on a monthly fee. Why paying a monthly fee? Because the system is hosted centrally and highly available to you, we offer business support, your data is automatically backuped and because we also have to pay our bills ;)

Fantastic and efficient time tracker with app and excellent desktop application as well. I can manage multiple projects, customers, quickly capture time and mileage and produce quick and clean reports in PDF and Excel. Paired with the Web application this is a superb tool that I selected after much research and two years later it has not let our small consulting firm down. Cannot say enough good about this. Pros: slick, quick, flexible Cons: Must use the Web application for full functionality. This is not a con for me. The mobile app let's me capture time and get access to data. It does what it needs to do and let's me do the management and complex stuff in a super efficient Web application.

I need a relaible mileage tracking app for my Android phone. This application saves me the paper and puts me in the driver's seat for tracking. I can readily log each business I travel to and Timr keeps track of the time perfectly for me. It also adds in my location to help facilitate where I had traveled to. A couple of suggestions to help first time users, when you are seeking to start, be dedicated, remember this will track whatever you want but you must remember to start the app each leg of the journey. I found tracking round trip is best is I track each leg of the journey. Also, remember, mobile is for tracking not for editing. Editing is best completed on the desktop. The reason for my business need for this app was for the detailed time tracking for our nurses who travel in the field from clients' homes. Our long term goal is to make charting completely virtual in an economical manner for our personal care agency. This application is an important step in this direction. The support team at Timr is amazing and the auxiliary modules with project tracking offers even more flexibility for team management.

I use this for work and it dose a pretty good job at keeping my hours straight except sometimes after a week's over at the end of the day not all my hours show up until 1 or 2 days later fix this and you can have five stars! With up date works much better

The new interface may look pretty but everyone has screwed up at least 2 entries this week. Please go back to a clean interface where you can type in dates and times. Get rid of the today/yesterday cap where you show today when the date is actually yesterday and just show dates. We have been using Timr for well over 5 years and one more week with it screwing up everyone's time and we will have to find a new program.

Should allow users to correct records within the app. Reports are also delayed. I don't want to open my computer to make corrections, that's why I track on my phone. TimeClock is better in my opinion for this. Also calculates pay check based on hours tracked.

I use this exclusively for mileage tracking, only improvement I would want is the ability in the online tool to fill in voids in mileage with personal use (I only log work miles), this would make reporting much easier

I was excited to find a product that promise to let me track mileage, work time, and billable time all in one. Would be good to also track expenses (gas, tolls, parking). Unfortunately, free version limits you to only tracking one of the 3 areas. Doesn't meet my needs, and I can't justify paying for personal-use tracking at this point. Too bad the free version is not slightly more robust for personal use.

This allows you to clock in and out and even counts for your breaks. I clock in and I can also clock in with the drive time and it will tell my boss where i am on GPS so he knows im not lying clocking in before I get to the jobsite. If I could add one thing it would be to record my gps location when logging in to work, not having to login seperately to the drive thing just to get my GPS. perfect, I will buy it if it is not too much.

I've been using the free version for many years now. It's been extremely useful for tracking my working hours and overtime, easy to start and stop the clock and add comments too. Great to be able to search and view the records when it comes to filling out my overtime forms etc. Would be nice to edit times via the app, but easy enough via the web.
