I let sync option with Dropbox only when wifi was on, but it didn't work at all. It spent 4gb from my LTE plan!

Very dissatisfied, I recorded a conversation whilst on Skype and tge entire file now won't play and just freezes.

Boss, after resetting the my mobile, my older recordings are not able to sync with the app, all those are in a folder of Dropbox.

I really like this app. I'd like to be able to sync my recordings with Google Drive. I believe almost everyone on Android has a Google Drive account. As such, I think it would be appreciated by many, many users. Otherwise, it's a great app.

Because of the recent update, and the forcing all PRO paid users to subscribe to a new monthly subscription Pro plan, mostly for cloud storage (which I don't need), I have giving this a 1 star rating. I expected to keep the Pro featured I already paid for previously with this upgrade. Because I did not, I have downgraded to the old 4.0 version and will never update until you incorporate the pro featured I paid for!

*USELESS* for exam prep because it pauses on every recording repeat. How the hell did this get past the bug testers? Using a Note 4 that works perfectly. Fix this issue and I will buy Pro. Otherwise, I'm using another app that lets me use the camera and record at the same time.

It was my favourite recorder app, but recently there's a problem where it either records or plays back (I'm not sure which) choppy. It's like a CD skipping, every 1 second or so. So it's completely useless for me now.

I've been using this app for a few days and am loving it. The only things I wish you could do is add the option to use your own photos as a theme and make use of some phones' led light by making it blink while recording. This will make me know that the app is recording. These things are not necessary, but it would be really nice to have. Edit: one extra thing that would be nice is if you stopped the recording by accident, you should be able to merge some of the recordings.

After Recording it always say file not found and there would never be any Recordings.

I've lost some old records, where do files are stored ?

Loved it Voice Recorder

I used to love this app for recording feedback to my students. I recently signed up for 12 months of pro and for some reason this week I can no longer share the files properly via wetransfer like I always have and it will only share a txt version of the file which is utterly useless to me. Everything worked fine last week and now it doesn't work at all. It also wants me to sign up for pro per month on top of the 12 months I've already paid for. If it's necessary to pay for both, fine but I at least want to be able to share my files easily

I've been a paid user for a while, but recently I've been using (or trying to) the app more frequently. This has made me realize how unreliable it is; roughly 50% of all of my recordings end up being about a minute or so of silence instead of the 30+ minutes they should be. Everything looks like it's recording, but when all is said is done it hasn't. I'm not sure what the problem might be, but it renders the entire app untrustworthy. When it does work, it works well though.

They keep finding new ways to make me have to pay again for my PAID FOR app. Last time might have been a mistake, but twice? They clearly have a policy of price-gouging users. Ive also noticed the missed recording issue has been unresolved for years. This app is ok but the business practices are dodgy and the service cannot be relied on either from a business or technical point of view. You should avoid this app.

I purchased the paid "pro" version for better sound quality for my classes. Now they are making me pay again for web/cloud storage??? No...please return my ability to use different formats/bitrates, and allow me to purchase the "cloud" functionality if needed.

The new up is a big disappointment, no longer a skip silence option, which is important to me and available in many similar apps. The ui is attractive, but I think that the update is all about the developer getting greedy and wanting to sell cloud storage, because the files are now bigger and longer after silence skip option has been removed ????

I've paid for this app 2 times already in the last couple years, was a good app though. Now it's asking to pay again and this time is an expensive subscription. Thanks but no, plus the average smartphone today has 64 GB, who needs a cloud service for audio files? ------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: It's true, the pro features are still available, but the cloud subscription kept popping up like an advertisement, which is why I don't like the new version. I suggest to Triveous to create 2 versions of the app, one for normal/pro and one for normal/cloud.

The newly updated interface is very nice looking, and it works well. The notes and other features seem like they could be useful to some people, though I don't have any use case for them. However, the subscription model doesn't make any sense; why would I want to pay for cloud syncing when I already have cloud storage via Google Drive? And the biggest disappointment is that even after the update and all their claims of "high quality recordings", you still only get mono output. Is it that hard to add stereo? I'll be using a different app.

The new version is harder to use and needs more clicks from recording to play back making it useless to me. I'm so disappointed because this was so perfect for me before.

Do not trust this app with your recordings. All fine with happy tagging until you want to change phone or sdcard or recover from backup. The file list and tags all look fine but they are no longer linked to the actual file. No way to reconnect them even when they're in the same folder as the new recordings. ZERO SUPPORT. Useless.

The best recorder i have found. Really nice designing and quality. I will buy it soon as possible for pro version. I hope all features and quality will be there even after purchasing it. Doesn't sync. The one reason I got this app was so that it would sync to Dropbox, and the feature works 0% of the time. There's a notification at the top of my device saying Voice Recorder is syncing, but the files never actually upload.

I set the format to .AAC, but it always records in both .WAV and .AAC, which takes a lot of space (more than 100 Mb!). How do I make it record in .AAC only? Also, I cannot see my recording file in my laptop's file explorer.

In 2014 I rated this app 5 stars, now in 2016 I'm rating it 3 stars, I just recorded a convo I was having on my phone and it says recorded an stored, when I clicked on the saved file, nothing is playing.... It never did this before I'm am very confused...please fix ASAP, this app was so awesome...I'm looking forward to giving it 5 stars again...but results first ;)
