TripMapic-Map your Travel blog for Android
Really great app with simple UI to create Geo tagged travel blogs. I tried it offline as well and the results are really impressive. Hope to see features which could help me during my journey.
Absolutely LOVING this app. I'm traveling around South Africa on a once in a lifetime trip, and this is the perfect way to capture memories as they happen, and share them with friends. Things I love: - You can only attach 5 pics per entry. I thought this would be really annoying, but it forces you to pick the very best images, and also encourages you to write short things often, rather than waiting and then writing a huge amount in one go. I might write 3 "postcards" in one day, but each one only takes a few minutes, I do them over lunch or while travelling or in a quick break, and don't fall behind then feel it's a huge task to undertake to catch up. - Clicking on a pic when choosing them brings it up full size so you can make sure you're picking the best one. Very useful! More apps should do this.... - You can write entries offline, they sync automatically when you get an Internet connection, which is important while travelling! - It automatically uses your current location and time when you start the post, but it's also very easy to alter date, time and location if you need to. - It's easy to share to Facebook. Things I would love to see improved to make this a perfect travel blogging app.... - Larger font when writing entries. It's so tiny! Makes it harder than it needs to be. A larger text box would also be nice. - Better scrolling when writing entries. I often want to scroll up to check what I have written, but can't just swipe up and down to scroll. Instead I have to drop a cursor, then move that around to see different bits of text, which is tricky and the texts moves so fast it's hard to control. - In general the app is reliable, but a bit buggy in that when I save a postcard I have to exit the app and shut it down, then go back into it before the postcard will show up. That's not a problem (though is a bit nerve-wracking at times if you weren't paying attention and missed the "your note saved ok" message, and think you lost it! - It would be nice to be able to add extra photos without having to re-add ones you already added. If I'm in a rush I might start with 1 or 2, but want to go back later to add more. Adding photos clears the ones you already added, so you have to start from scratch. - The option to pick the cover photo for the postcard. At the moment it uses whichever photo you added first, so you have to bear this in mind when adding them. - Integration with other social networks (especially twitter). - The ability to auto-post every entry to fb/twitter when it syncs. - The option for people to subscribe by email, so they automatically get an email with a link to each entry when it syncs. Extra features that would be amazing would be to team up with an app like My Postcard, so you can send any of your entries as a physical postcard with just a few clicks, or to be able to order a printed book of all the postcards in a travelogue, which would be an amazing trip momento!

Error during sign up... Can't even create an account. :/

By far the best travel journal, very intuitive, easy and thus used most. Other journals take a clue from this app on usability

I like the idea of the app but I can't upload any photos and when I try if I haven't saved what I type it keeps deleting my postcard! Happy to change to 5 stars if someone can help work out the photo issue
