TripIt: Travel Organizer for Android
Generally very good fit keeping trip plans. Automatically inserts everything together. I email my tickets rather than automatic reading as it tends to also pick up and import itineraries shared in email by colleagues. Two things which could be improved. 1. When you share to LinkedIn, the city image defaults to the standard graphic which isn't as eye catching as a city image. 2. When sharing with colleagues I have to share each trip with each person for them to see my full itinerary. Would be nice to just set it as default for all trips.
Trying to register, makes me enter email & password then tells me they have no record of user. I know this, hence why I'm trying to register. Uninstalled & back to tripcase
Created account and can not auto import itinerary because the app is not allowed to make an OAuth. Not sure of what the benefits are if I have to manually enter my reservations. Google Trips already has my info based on my Gmail account. *UPDATE* Tried to give these guys a second shot. If you are on Android, you can already get these features for free. This app is definitely a rip off. In order to sync basic information, you need to email itinerary, milage programs etc.. Within 5 minutes of paying for this service I realized it was a mistake. However, according to the terms of use, once your card is charged, no refund will be issued. Even if you are on a trial and forget about it.. Shady.
Best travel and events planner bar none. Used to be an avid user of Worldmate but since that has died a natural death, I was pleasantly surprised to see something so refined step in to take its place. Only thing I would suggest to the devs is to increase the effectiveness of translating bookings from some sources better. If you're traveling or have a long list of destinations you need to be as part of a tour or event, business or personal, I would highly recommend you give this a shot.
Love the way it monitors email for your flight details. Sorry had to take off some stars because following the latest update widgets no longer works in fact it will not stay on the screen. Update to 7.1.1 and now when I try to put a widget on I am told the app is.not installed. Back to work guys. Back to 5 stars ,it took two updates but widgets are now fixed. Permission as now been given for Santa to visit the developers .
App crashes and keeps trying to sync offline . The Google powered search does not give same places you can find on Google browser ... so have to manually enter locations for activities ????
Tripit pulls all of my trip info together in one app, and the pro features just saved me $120 through a refund alert when my same flight was offered for less.
Great app, except for two things. PLEASE let us remove, hide, acknowledge, mark as read, or whatever you can do to make it stop showing alerts as active when they have been read or it's no longer relevant! It's disturbing to glance at the app and see "three active alerts!" and wonder if the flight's been cancelled only to realise it's the same alerts for "you've checked in" etc that have been there for hours. It also has the presumably undesirable effect of making me personally ignore them - surely if the feature is there, you want us to use it. I know people have been asking for this for years, and whatever logic you have for making them eventually disappear (do they expire after 24 hours?) is not that helpful on a multi-day journey across timezones. I think the simplest option is to grey each alert as you scroll through, and reset the counter on the alert menu item. Offer the option to mark alerts as "active" if someone wants an on-screen nag. Secondly, stop resetting my alert preferences when I update the app! I have them nearly all turned off, but they all seem to come back as selected, and generating alerts in their full unacknowledgeable glory every update. I only cared about the gate change alert I got earlier today. The app was just now showing 5 "active" alerts until I deselected the garbage about updating my itinerary via email, etc, etc. Now there's "only" three. ...Hours after reaching my destination, so they're obviously not inactivated by a temporal event passing (not much point having an alert saying the check-in is available when check-in is closed... much less when the plane has already arrived at the other end). However, please do not add temporal event alert dismissals! Manual will be great (and more accurate) for starters.
Can't live without it. First app installed on a new phone. Only one request would be for them to remove alerts or at least set them to read once you've read/reviewed them.
Amazing app automatically tracks all my trip itinerary (flight, hotels, cars, etc).
Very useful to keep track of your itinerary and get notified of flight changes.
Husband and I are often on different trips. Tripit has been a huge help in getting details on complex trips and having it all in one place.
Really keeps me organized. Continues to be improved, Pro features well worth the fee. App interface often better than the web.
Awesome app!! Extremely handy to keep all booking references/numbers in one easy to access place.
Still a must have travel companion. Really like the proactive gate chance alerts and alternate flight tool.
So far, decent, would be nice to nest and collapse days so it's easier to navigate
Good app just needs a better approach to testing updates
A must app for keeping track and sharing your trip information.
It has helpful info that keeps me up to date with my travel. Very easy to use.
Fantastic app for the frequent flyer. Very easy and informative with great features and updates. Really recommend it
Minus two stars...App constantly runs in background
Please add booking section!!
Necessity for trips!
Good app, easy to use.
Great
Like the app but like others have said my widget no longer works on my Moto G5+ after the most recent update. If not fixed soon will delete, not worth it without quick access. Update 12/13: updating to version 7.1.1 has fixed the widget issue
Useful app, but the widget seems to have been broken in the latest version. Running 7.1.1, it's still broken.
The latest update fix the phone issue but broken the tablet - come on guys maybe some testing before release ?
This app does all the right stuff for a traveler or organizer. Rapid turnaround of fixes when needed - which is great, because this app has been a reliable workhorse for the frequent traveler.
Latest update broke the home screen widgets
Thanks for fixing widget bug. Perfect now for all my travel planning and management
7.1.1 fixed the broken widget on my Note 8
Great app, and widget is fixed. Thanks!
The widget was removed, however, I found it to be one of the best additions to the app. One glance for your trip was convenient.
Great app to organise my travel. I wish it could connect to multiple email accounts to gather flight information.
I got the Pro. But they never reported delays on my flight. Otherwise, good organizer.
Tripit keeps me sane. I love it.
Since the 7.1.1 update, I can use the widget on my Note8. Thanks for fixing.
Cannot live without it

Great app. The subscription is a bit pricey if you don't travel often (although the functionality that is free is more often than not sufficient for the casual traveller), but absolutely worth it if you're a frequent traveller. With WorldMate gone, TripIt is now alone in a class of its own.
