The Series Notifier

1 big bug appears when you add tv serie and it doesnt add icon for it, i.e. it does not add to the list properly, which then causes people to have jumpy list in preferences. Such tv series are walking dead and game of thronea for instance, they do not add to list fully and bug out list, nor there are any notifications aswell... Please fix this issue and this will be 5 star app !

The app does what I want it to do...if only I could set the preferences. Since the list of shows keeps popping up to the top of the screen, I can't specify when I want my notifications. This is the whole purpose of the app for me. Would give it a higher score if it would let me set the preferences or had a way to do it online.

Wont even stay turned on.

I use to love this app and used it all the time for at least a year without issue.except for not being able to scroll through my list of shows....but its been months now since its worked or sent notifications! WTH? I can't get it to work on any of my devices. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing but nothing works to get it work! Within seconds of opening the app, I get an error message "unfortunately the series notifier has stopped". I have reported it multiple times from this error msg but has yet to be fixed or working on any of my devices. PLEASE FIX!!!!!! (a reply to this review with instructions on how to fix or work around this issue or an update on the status of a new release would be greatly appreciated!!!!) Once fixed and operational again, I would happily change my rating to a 5 star

So, I just installed it and am waiting on whether it actually works, but my first problem is not being able to search your added shows due to the scroll bar being broken, which i could deal with if i could search through them, but that's another thing you should add. Also maybe an episode tally built in so you know where you are in the series.

Tried a few apps but kept this one. Like live search and ui. Scrolling on prefs keeps jumping to top though. Still testing out notification but seems to work better than other apps. How does it treat repeated shows? ie, does it only notify of new episode?

You really have to fix your scrolling problem, I can't get to the bottom of my series list because it keeps jumping back to the top all the time. Apart from that it's a fantastic app, but that has to be fixed. 3/5 without that, 5/5 when you fix it.

Used to work ok but now it uses 300mb of mobile data in the background in one week?!

Running on Samsung Galaxy Ace and I have a problem that when I go into my list of shows and try to scroll down, I have about one second to find the show I want, or it automatically jumps back to the top. Not sure if other users are having the same issue. I've also noticed lately that sometimes notifications are not coming through. I've changed my rating from 4 to 3 stars.

I like this app cuz its simple and it does what it says, which is how it should stay. HOWEVER, I'm having 2 big issues with it. 1) on the preferences screen with the list of all my TV shows, it refuses to let you scroll down. It bounces back up in less than a second. VERY frustrating. Please fix! 2) notifications don't always come in. It should be consistent. Fix these 2 issuea please, cuz i really wanna keep this app.

Sort by next air date would be good as the sort by date doesn't do that. Also when you scroll down the list, unless you immediately (and I mean immediately) click on a show, it jumps back to the top of the column almost immediately. Basic could be good but flawed app at the moment and uninstalled as there are other far better free apps.

It did nothing beyond allowing me to add my favorite shows and getting a notification about their air times... ONCE. No updated notifications, not even a refresh button to force an update! So basically after adding my favorite shows I have no use for the app!

Used to work well for me on SGS2 with gingerbread, but it is not working on ICS.

Feature request: smartly adjust notification time. I want to be reminded of a new episode in advance only if new series is coming. When its every week only notify on time. That would be great!

This app did not notify me when my show was coming on. I almost missed it!

Great app. Simple easy to use and has every TV series imaginable in it's listings.

I have dish network plz fix these networks so I'll no what channel the shows come on I need the right network channels

Only some shows work

Works great. Would definitely recommend. Just wish it had an option to only notify of new episodes, and a way to clear the recent notifications list.
