The SketchUp Viewer brings 3D models to life on your Android phones and tablets, allowing you to open and view SketchUp models any time, anywhere, on the device you want to view them on.
Version 3 now includes a Tape Measure tool plus added support for viewing Dimensions, Text and Section Planes and Scene Animations!
Explore and share 3D models:
• Download models to your device from your 3D Warehouse, Trimble Connect or Dropbox account for seamless offline viewing
• Open SketchUp models directly from email attachments, or open files from other cloud service apps like Google Drive.
• Navigation features include multi-touch gestures for Orbit, Look Around, Pan, Zoom, and Zoom Extents, as well as a Camera menu with options for toggling between Perspective and Orthographic camera modes, and adjusting the Field of View.
• Use the Scenes menu to select from any of the standard camera views (top, side, bottom, etc.) or access the custom Scenes that you created in SketchUp. The app supports the following scene properties: Camera location and properties, Hidden Geometry, Visible Layers, Active Section Planes, Standard Edge Styles, Face Styles, Background/Sky/Ground Style settings, Watermarks and Axes Location.
• Use the Layers panel to toggle the contents of your SketchUp model layers on or off.
• Use the View panel to choose from any of SketchUp’s Face styles and to toggle X-Ray mode on or off. The view menu also offers visibility toggles for Hidden Geometry, Section Planes, Section Cuts and Axes.
• Use the Tape Measure tool to quickly measure objects in your SketchUp model.

nice, so far so good, i bought this cause im a certified sketchup user. and i felt the need to go mobile for my presentations. im a S7 galaxy user, and so far it is smooth on my system. just a thought, further improvements may include rendering tools.

Over the years, they've made great strides in improving the app. As such, I've decided to change my early review with 2 stars to a 4 star compliment. Now, if only they hadn't taken so long to make those improvements, I'd given them 5 stars. Now, if only they'd add Box support.

Time to make this free now.How to quit Tape Measure?! Tape Measure needs to snap more readily. Also a slight negative 'delay' after release so accuracy improved. Points could be slightly larger (transparent?) Zooming still a bit jumpy and needs to be smoother. Drop the exit confirmation if possible.

The screen goes black as soon as I open a model on my Galaxy Tab 4, no matter what the size of the file is. I'd like to keep it because I need it for work, so please fix this, otherwise I'm getting a refund!

No idea how local file search works. It chooses a random folder as root. Search does not work. The only thing you can do is associated file type with sketch. Functionality is very limited. I would have taken refund but spent so much time trying to open a file the time eslapsed

I got the app to view measurements on the go, but the measurements show up completely wrong! 15 5/8 looks like 15 15/15 and 8 looks like 7 7/7 and 34 11/16 looks like 34 34/34.
