About BigVEncoder Trial

BE SURE TO TEST THIS TRIAL VERSION BEFORE PURCHASING THE PAID VERSION

NOTE: The trial database has been emptied (12/31/2016) so everyone can give the trial version another try.

If your Android supports H264 hardware encoding with its camera, then you can do live video broadcasting.

BigVEncoder works with many online media servers including YouTube Live, Wowza Media Server, Adobe Flash Media Server, Red5 Media Server, and others. You can also stream live audio from your microphone to any Icecast server.

You can mix and match video and audio sources. Pull the video from one source and the audio from another. Pull the video from a file and add narration from your microphone. Or shoot fresh video with your camera and add music from an audio file.

Streaming protocols supported include RTMP, MPEGTS, RTP, and others. Many video and audio formats are supported including H264, MPEG4, VP8, Theora, AAC, MP2, MP3, and others.

Use BigVEncoder to convert existing files to other formats. Take your 3gp or mp4 files created by the Android's camera app and convert them to Flash video or any one of several other formats.

Use BigVEncoder to create ringtones. You can create MP3 files for your MP3 player. Just pull the audio from whatever source you would like and save the output to a file on your device.

Do live interviews from your Android. No more equipment to lug around for your live internet video and audio broadcasts.

BigVEncoder has been highly optimized to work efficiently with your Android camera and microphone. You can stream live quality video and audio in realtime.

To get started, hit the Overview button after BigVEncoder first loads up. You'll find some information to help get familiar with the user interface and various aspects of its use. Also, from any screen, just hit the Menu button to find help for that screen. Documentation is always right at your fingertip.

To stream live video or audio, you will need access to a media server on the internet or within a local network running any one of several popular media server applications. BigVEncoder can also stream live to services such as ustream.tv, justin.tv, qik.com, and others.

Even though BigVEncoder is intended for live broadcasting, it has many more uses. Discover all that BigVEncoder can do. For more info, visit our website at bigvstudio.com.

Big V Encoder does exactly what it is supposed to do. Works perfectly for my Galaxy S7 to stream video to both Wowza and nginx-rtmp servers. I am amazed at the power and flexibility of this app! My professional knowledge in this field probably makes it easy to set up and use compared to someone just playing around.

This app is power packed! You'd spend a couple hundred dollars to buy stand alone equipment that this app alone provides. Very impressed! Amazing customer support as well!

Revised review. Very robust solution. After reviewing this, I found the help text in app and was able to resolve my authentication issues. Still testing this out, but a very powerful app for broadcasting live video to RTMP using Flash Media Server! UPDATE: Maurice is very prompt with excellent email support. A great app!

Tried your other product for YouTube, never starts. This one has a lot of crap to enter and I have no idea what it is. If you're going to make an app, if people don't know how to use it, it's pretty much useless. Stream to YouTube Live, that's all I'm trying to do.

There seems to be no documentation anywhere on what to input for the wowza server fields. I am only guessing, but no matter what I input into your app fields, I cannot get connected to my wowza server. You should consider adding either some docs, or some screenshots showing examples of the 'remote' screenshot as to what we should be entering. Love the idea of the app, just wish there were some more help docs on setup.

Everything looks like it should work - I got past the Adobe authentication after several tries. Akamai sees a stream at its entry point but refuses to accept or transcode/transfer the stream to the edge servers. When I compare a working stream to the stream generated by this app, the only difference I see is the framerate being reported in the stream. Akamai's entry point debugger shows "onMetaData(framerate): 1000" regardless of what fps output setting I try on the Video Output Settings screen. On a working stream the framerate is reported correctly as 30. Perhaps that causes Akamai's entry point servers to reject the stream. We may try testing with YouTube Live but it would be great if we could get it working with Akamai as well.
