Airfix Model World Magazine for Android
This is a great magazine for helping me in decisions of what to buy, what with being able to zoom in on details, advice, seeing how various models are constructed in parts and paint applications excellent, however there are quiet a number of would be modellers who won't take the jump because of cost, models, paint and ancillaries, I used to go to woolworths starting in the ealy 60's with my pocket money, now in some instances across the manufacturers spectrum you need a bank loan even down to 1:48 scale, two things well done in going into schools and second the App monza has revelle models digitally to build and paint, I have done a few they are good to practice on and the numbers are growing, are you going to do so thing like this
I have read this magasine for quite a while now and i think its great as ot saves going out to the shop and buying it
I am a big fan of airfix . I hve more than 20 plastic models . Love it . I want to thank the creator of this plastic model production company. And this magazine.:D
Looks fine and works well but takes an age to download on my Android tablet.
I am addicted to airfix models and this app was perfect
Good reviews, relevant product links too, could do with an unbiased stand point from time to time, yet all in all a great app----
Great app if u love making them
Good
I downloaded the free issue first which took way to long to download. Then I purchased 2 back issues from 2012 and 12 hours later they have only partially downloaded!!! This is at home with wifi!!! For me the ideas is to be able to download an issue for reading while traveling, so I am not sure I want to spend my money on partial magazines. There does not seem to be a way to restart the downloads in the background. I had to scroll to each page and wait minutes for the content to show up and still some pages never arrived!
Have to pay for actual magazines.
Tho asides from the cheap first issue, doesn't offer anything (this title included) that the pocket mags app doesn't.
I love these mags that we can take with us. Works great on my Samsung phone and tablet.
Works nicely on Iconia A500
On a previous tablet I purchased magazines with no difficulties. On my new tablet, the Airfix app insists on linking with my Google account, with no way to restore my previous purchases bought under a different account. I won't be making anymore purchases until this is changed.
Best thing ever
