GamerBase - Looking for Group for Android
Rebrand was a good move. No ads, good way to aggregate various clients like bnet, origin etc and put a face, human or otherwise, on fellow gamers. Some of the reviews are negative and raise valid points, hope the devs are on it - with some more features will be the place for gamers to hang out
Idea is interesting, but the development on the app is poor. Unstable, crashing, missing features from web version, missing generic features similar apps have. Really all you have going right now is a monopoly and marketing.
Can't even login a day later because it keeps saying my password is wrong. No forgot password option anywhere!
I wanted to find people in my city playing star citizen. no location matching, no same game matching. uninstall
Crashes requently, limited use compared to the Web version. No report functions for scammers.
Giving this 3 starts only for the interesting idea. Would keep tracking the development of the app to see if there is any progress to make it more intuitive
You never get suggested gamers based on your games
Please use the swipe and alloy see the people whom they added
This app could be cool a couple of years from now, but right now it has no users, and it has no cool features.
App keeps crashing when editing profile. Unusable.
Literally doesn't do anything...
But with that being said, every app needs work starting out.... Its on the right track...a little more customization, and the buttons need to be a bit more spaced apart as it accidentally hits the wrong 1 occasionally ...overall great job wonderfully unique idea... Keep up the good work
The app is alright. Good concept to it. One idea I have is if you could sort of "ping" that you are looking for some teammates or players in a particular game. Then anyone searching up that game, would get a notification that someone is searching for players right away. App is well done overall, design looks nice. Maybe add some more profile pics.
Love the idea, something I would suggest to friends if the messaging worked better (not crashing every time I open a convo). The design can be a bit better, yes, but that's not what this app is about. Also advertising it as tinder for gamers, you give the impression that it is an actual dating app instead of looking for buddy app, I would change that.
No way I can give this any more than a 1/5, considering that I can't send messages and it crashes on the message screen, making this useless. No option to swipe and missing the button flips the card over, even if you do click correctly, you end up with an annoying prompt slowing things down. Having to use my limited text space on announcing where I am shouldn't be a thing, you should be allowed to put a flag picture on your profile.
Nice idea, but needs lots of work. Things I'd like to see: - Custom avatars - More intuitive way of showing games & IDs (took me a while to find out you can 'flip' a card, very unintuitive & unnecessary) - Better way to add games (should be under profile, not always in your tab bar. Also, dice are not the best icon for this.) - Less buttons. Feels very bloated.
When you try and hit the next button to go to the next person it sometimes decides to flip over that persons card rather than going yo the next person. Another REALLY annoying thing is when you invite someone to be a friend it asks each and every time if you want to invite friends from Facebook. Even if I did have crapbook I wouldn't allow this app information from it! Save yourself the bother there are much better apps out there.
App crashes when chatting with other users. You lose your profile configuration and friends if you uninstall and install again. Clearly not ready for users
List was so short that i finished this faster than Tinder without to find anyone to play with. I would suggest this again when this has actually some users (spotted 1 female out of other around 10mans)
Lovely idea, bringing people of the same interests together. Everyone seems to be rating it low because of lack of users, I feel this is unfair to the developers for their product works quite well. Just give it time and the user base will grow.
It needs to have categories. Not just a profile where you list things. Give boxes to check of which systems you play on and tour preferred one for multiples. Boxes for game types and genres and preferred as well. Then sort matches based on this info. Right now there's no sorting which makes the app useless. Of the very few matches none are of the same game type or platform. In other words, put some actual design into the app rather then just 10 generic pictures to choose from and write a profile.
As I said, idea is brilliant but needs some tweeks. What I currently noticed is when I recieve a msg notification, it keeps getting stacked over each other even though it is the same notification msg from the same person. Please fix that. Its becoming spamy lol. Also, I wish I can put my own profile picture. I really don't like the ones we have to choose from.

I'd suggest having the ability to upload avatars, and more emphasis on LFG and meeting friends rather than saying it's like Tinder. Or at least adding a preference for looking for friends only.
Fails to load messages and crashes on one plus one oxygen 2.1.4 (Android version:5.1.1) pls fix as people have sent me messages but I can't read them will 5 star once fixed
awesome idea, even though might not work fully atm. :p
It's not bad gnu met a few nice people on it :)
Just wish it didn't send you a separate push notifications for each message you miss
Simple and kinda fun. Can have a lot more added though
2 search results?
Great app
horrible
So far it's pretty good. Some of the UI features are kind of annoying. When you press the arrow to another card sometimes you will miss and flip the card instead. I'd suggest expanding the hit box for it. I'm only showed a certain amount of people I'm guessing that's all that I'm matched well with. Perhaps have an option where we can look at those who we aren't matched so well with? Like only having one or two things in common. Really it just needs more users and some minor updates to become better.
I don't enjoy using the app, the way you have to figure out to tap it to see games at the back of their card is annoying to start out with. This should be designed with more simplicity, filters, e.g. I just want to find Rocket League players, a small tutorial at the start, Get rid of the horrible blackness theme..etc. I could go on and on. I could design a much nicer app myself.
A worthwhile idea but poorly implemented. The premise is very catching and prompted me to make a profile and give it a spin for about a week. The app itself is pretty bare-bones and leaves much to be desired. It lacks many useful features and many of the features that are actually there end up feeling jank or not working properly some of the time. The messaging system is clunky, the art is a sore to look at, the color scheme wears on the eyes, the vibrations on each tap should not be there at all, the list goes on. Ultimately, I can't recommend this to anyone for practical use other than checking out the budding seed of the idea. At present, I would suggest not wasting your time. Hoping to update review as development progresses.
The app itself is a brilliant idea but there needs to be a lot of improvements implemented if the creators want the app to succeed. Here is a short list with some improvements that I would like to see in future updates. -The app feels VERY clunky to use, It lacks simple features such as swiping right or left when you're on a profile. It's also quite annoying when you use the back button on your handset and it quits out of the app entirely. - More search options, Would be useful to include search tools to make finding profiles easier such as selecting a certain platform like PlayStation so you can find people that play PlayStation rather than just similar games (Which is also a useful feature) - Let users upload their own profile picture, Makes every profile feel and look unique - Editing profile could be more easier to access and customise
Its a cool app with an interesting concept, although it is kinda buggy and could use more features. I really hope you guys keep working on this one cause it's really useful.
I added one person as friend and now I can't see anyone. Only a black screen.
dont like the UI. i cannot figure out how to do things.

A half finished concept. Website doesn't work on mobile. App is very buggy with crashing and freezing. Adding games is tiresome you have to type in the title everytime you cannot select multiple games from the search results. Also no form of password recovery I can't remember or mistyped my password in the original form and now have no way of logging in.
