Stars for Android
For those who want gorgeous images, take the eyes away from the mobile and look at the sky. The beautiful real things are there. Don't forget to use this great star map to learn what constellation you are looking at.
This app only does what it says : offer a map of the night sky for learning purposes. If you actually need it to look at the sky "on the run", you came to the wrong app.
If you have basic understanding of constellations this app is a simple night sky map to help find your way about
Estrellas
Teaches the constellations and planet locations

sagritauros
Very good i love it
So boring and classical
There was nothing to do on it. It's a waste of time.
Very well done! Those looking for awesome photos may be missing the purpose for this application: The user views the celestial sphere (full sky) at an "unaided-eye" level of detail and navigates the sky from one group of constellations to another. More cluttered presentations would hinder the effort of learning these basic patterns on the sky. Satisfying in itself, this is an important first step for pointing binoculars and telescopes without electronic assistance.
Lol I guess its good is hadn't even tried it
Awesome
easy to use, g1.
Nice
I like to star
It's bad coz it only shows a small bit of the sky and I do lots of research on stars and some of those constellations aren't even real!
It's good and all but I might just buy a telescopes

nothing more... it shows the actual stars, plane of the ecliptic, galactic equator i guess, (would help if those lines were labeled) ... constellations ... and you can spin the map around etc... doesn't have any time/date/location dependent stuff, which makes things simple and light, but eg no planets, which is kinda limited... can't zoom out far enough, and navigation is a bit limited (can't upside down, and i'm on southern hemisphere, so the sky is upside down!) btw I found another complimentary app, Planets, which does what this simple app lacks :-)
