Like this app for breaking news and live video news. Works well on all my devices. My favorite news app.

Vert informative. If you cant catch their evening broadcast, this is a great substitute for it.

I enjoy this App because you can read the intro without opening the story. Provides excellent timely news.

Please offer an evening screen with a darker lower light option for late night reading.

I couldn't get to the actual news. It kept spamming me with comercial after comercial after comercial after comercial after comercial. For Sunday morning with Jane Pauley, she didn't get five words out before I got spammed with 5-6 more commercials. Then I'd think it was done and I'd get to watch the show. But NOT So. Five more words from Jane Pauley and then 5-6 more commercials. It made the show not watchable which is a stupid thing for an app to do. Pretty much defeats the purpose.

CBS is indispensable. I was born in 1953 and grew up watching Walter Cronkite. I learned about Edward R. Morrow later. I have other news apps but usually start with CBS. I know it's timely and accurate, even if someone else wants to label it "fake news."

Feb 2018 Works well enough. Since Channel 7 News LA destroyed their app, I use this one and access Ch 7 via my browser. I enjoy live news off and on without having to log in. Too bad CBS doesn't offer the same. I left cable 4 years ago. Love not paying for infomercials, sports, televangelists and Spanish tv. Love Flipbook, PBS & BBC. No fillers. Just info.

I gave this app a 3 because I wanted to give the app credit for the good things it has going for it. I do like some of the content and a few of the programs. Sunday Mornings is the BEST. This app has some serious issues. It loads very slow and freezes half the time it loads. When it does load and you choose a story to watch then it will freeze again. Very dissatisfied customer.

When it works content is good & format is easy to use. Howevee it crashes and or hangs up & needs to be closed 2, 3 or more times a day. Annoying!

Using new netbook tablet, since latest update, video quality is bad. Blurry. There are so many commercials, always lots of drug commercials, it's more of a long commercial with short news blurbs. Used to love watching CBS THIS MORNING, but damn, s 30 second news byte followed by 2 minutes of commercials ????

I absolutely DO NOT appreciate being pulled from a different app back into your app TO SEE AN ADVERTISEMENT. Assholes.

CBS have been my GO-TO for news and entertainment for 10 years+. Fair and no fluff reports, best prime time entertainment and late night shows are bring me back time after time

This my top app for watching news. My only complaint is it stopped streaming in HD on my Android tablet but it keeps streaming in perfect HD in my iPhone. All the news corporations should look up to CBS NEWS, they've been hitting home runs with this project for many years: Live news on the go with lot's of CBS ads, which I don't mind, in the end it's free for the users.

With all the fake noise from awful fox... reassuring to know CBS holds on to it's tradition of factual news and authoritative commentary.

Not a fan of the full screen popup ads. Content is very bias. Not as bad as others but it gets old.

Been using this app for a short while; found it to move on its own, which is annoying. Has a lot of repetitive news articles and isn't clear in what it is reporting. Lastly, spends too much time with the antics of Donald Trump.

Stays up-to-date and current not running the same stories all day and all night easy to use and I love the radio feature

Loads slow, crashes frequently. Great content, wish it wasn't so hard to keep open.

Has a stupid full screen ad when the app starts. Once you close the ad, the app locks up, and can only be closed by killing it in the recent apps list.

I really haven't had this app long enough to rate it. So I'm leaving it in the middle for now. Ask me again in about six to eight weeks.

Very poor video quality on CBSN stream after last update.

Good morning. It's a great app. Second to none. All my favorite news shows from CBS are all here and ready to watch at a touch of a button. Also no interruptions or buffering. Love it !

Just replaced another Sports App with the CBS App. Exactly what i was looking for. Enough said!!

CBS News is ok but I think it could be better. Would love to see the live streaming get better & app hasn't been updated in a while. Continue updating & improving.

I think think this app is one of the very best network news appz available. Seriously, this iz a very good one!
