Hosts Editor is a way to add, remove or comment out entries in the hosts file. The hosts file allows the user to override an IP address of a specific url. It is convenient when wanting to access computers or servers on a network where the internal NAT may not be working.
Because it does edit the hosts file root permission is required.
This is has the same functionality as the Gold version. The Gold version is just a way to donate.

Tried to delete 4 lines in a large hosts file. App had not finished after 15 minutes. Force closed the app and reopened it; my host file had been emptied completely. I had purchased Gold then refunded after this had happened.

Sometimes there are issues with the host file after I use an android patching app, and this lets me fix the hosts file back to normal. Great!

I was unable to easily locate a specific entry to disable because none of the capable editors or apps provided a search function. This app allowed me to quickly find and change part of my hosts file within minutes. I have not used the ADB option, but will update if needed. Thanks dev!
