Contraceptive Ring for Android
Even though the "notifications" switch is "enabled" it doesn't remind me when to put in/take out the ring, thus making the app completely useless.
Used to like it, but notifications stopped working, so it's pretty much useless now
I haven't receive any notifictions yet. Thus, the app is completly useless!
Doesn't send notifications I have to keep checking.... Only good thing is that it doesn't clutter up my regular calendar
Stopped showing reminders. Defeats the point.
I like it, it very clear to read
I'd pay for a version without ads. other than that the app is great!!!
Notifications did now work even after the "bug fix".
Notification always on and never works.. Deleted..
For the first few months, notifications to start and end ring worked, this month no notifications.
Alarm has never once gone off
Nice easy to use design but notifications stopped working after the first few months?! That's the whole point of the app right? Using Samsung Note 4.
I couldn't change start or ending dates if I forgot to do it on the scheduled day, and not having an alarm didn't help me remember.
The notification consistently doesn't work despite being "activated" since I downloaded it a few months ago. I've been lucky to remember to see when I need to take/put in my ring. Today was my last straw because I forgot to put in my ring on time. Back to searching for a different app.
I set the notification to active and yet it NEVER reminds me. The entire purpose for this app and it failed me on several occasions.
Not everyone has just 21 days. Please add an option for that. Also some women choose not to "get" their period with the ring. Can you please add those options.
I had another app but when I lost my phone I decided to try this, just because the design is sleeker. Since then I've missed the alarm three times. The other app really made sure to remind my and if my phone was turned off or out of battery it would wait until I turned it on again and yell at me. I'll certainly be turning back to that one. I see that other women are complaining about notifications not working as well. Do you really understand that you're quite responsible? You're dealing with our contraceptives, who have to be on time. You could end up making someone have to deal with an unwanted pregnancy...
The notifications worked the first month but now don't work at all. I missed my day to put the ring back in. Thank goodness my SO noticed. That put me at risk for pregnancy!
It's nice but since I'm not using it for birth control but endometriosis. I'm supposed to keep it in for 4 weeks and then out one week. But there is no option for that, so this app is quite useless to me.
I'd pay for a version without ads. other than that the app is great!!!
I don't get notifications!
Just testing so far, but I like it a lot! It allows for start dates to be set in the past, there are two ways to view your schedule (calendar and list + countdown), and notifications can be enabled/disabled. The default seems to be off, so anyone using this should be careful. Edit: Thank you for the (quick!) response, mr developer! Second edit: 5 stars now because my one issue was fixed so quickly! Thanks!
Works well so far, I like the calendar option.
