Freecycle + trash nothing!

This is a very useful app. I've found items from very nice responsible people. A big THANK YOU to them. My only complaint... I wish offers and wants would automatically delete after a week. There are some pretty old ads out there that owners forget about and it's disappointing when they tell you it's been gone a while or worse yet, they don't respond at all! So for that, this app gets only 4 stars. Developers: please make some changes to address old ads.

Added this because I am trying to get hold of old fashioned cassette audio racks and can't buy them anywhere. Hardly anything useful on offer, but long list of 'wants' for people who presumably have been socialised into thinking they are entitled to things for free. Eg. Digital SLR camera wanted, Xbox games wanted... seriously?

Hopefully more people will use this app giving a greater variety of choice. @developer, chrome ads popped open once since uninstalling this app, so it's not this one causing it. I don't even have chrome open at the time. Just doing general stuff on my phone and suddenly chrome opens with a spam ad, but as said, it's not this app causing it. Have edited star rating, thanks

Very useful app to recycle items, let's try to help the planet. Moreover you get what you looking for for free, it's a win win. The app is running very smootly in my device. :)

Aside from a couple good experiences, I have not had good luck with this. The app is fine, but the community sucks. I'm not trying to get free stuff either, I'm giving it away. People never show up, or email once and disappear. The community that this app creates is held together by a flaccid web of entitlement and laziness.

I am so pissed that I want to choose my location and I can't... don't download its waste of time... u will like something and the stuff is end of the country...

If you live in a small city there isn't much to choose from. 3 out of the 4 ads that did show up were a bit far, the same ad and was for someone asking for something. Maybe better if you live in a big city.

Love it. So simple and useful to easily share pictures of items. Not loads of users yet, but steadily increasing.

This is great. I've been a member of the site for awhile and just now downloaded the app. Just wish more people from Memphis Tennessee would catch on.

It's not as popular as Gumtree. Not a bad thing as you're more likely to bag a bargain

I love that this app allows you to choose which local groups to see msgs from! I'm an avid FreeCycler & can't recommend it enough!

Thought this app would be a quick way to use freecycle but, I have never had a reply.

When browsing the listings, it is easier to "favourite" everything that catches my eye, and then to return to my list of favourites to contact each person individually for collection. This app needs a "favourite" button and "my favourites" list!

Would be nice to browse before being asked to sign up. I don't even know if people in my area use this app.

I could not see anything waste of my time and my money I search no results.

I just joined and Ive been trying to see whats out there, but it wont let me, I guess because Im a new subscriber. Ill just stick to giving and shopping at thrift stores

It wont upload my phots of stuff im trying to give away. It say try agsin later....so i try later and still nothing.....so i try again later....it just doesn't work. I will just put my stuff on hard rubbish!

This app is useless. It was recommended on a website for being able to find sometimes valuable items listed for free. I signed up, joined all 6 groups which each had over 500 members a piece, and there were only FOUR listings of actual items. Everything else was just people wanting free stuff. Of course people want things for free, we don't need an app that lists everybody's wishlist. Uninstalled.

After entering yahoo login details I just get a blank screen. UPDATE: the new version seems to work fine and I am now able to login with my yahoo account.

The app probably works fine, but the experience was weird. You can't just use it, you have to sign up. So I did. And I was signed up to 3 "groups." And then I had to wait to be approved by these groups, which can take minutes or days. I just wanted to poke around the freakin' app! Wanted to see if I could give away toaster or pick up a chair or whatever, and now I'm a "member' of 3 Trash Nothing groups and getting daily email summaries of new posts. ?? I already know how to use search, people... The app does what it's supposed to do I guess, but the whole experience was not what I expected. Uninstalling.

I can't upload photos on the app or the mobile website. Some may say this is down to my phone but the app should be designed for even those of us on android who can't afford an iphone/ipad /windows.

Initially impressed however now freezing up and forced closing. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling however problem still exists. Update 2/6/16 tried to access online as advised by app maker but all that I get is a message saying page not loaded properly!

Great community of people but the app still doesn't let me upload photos and I can see I'm not the only one. Very frustrating to have to upload photos to an external site if I just want to give away something small

Used first time fine, then it wouldn't let me upload photos or even post at all without photos!

It's a great app I love it you can add pictures to your post. But when's the app updates did love you out and you have to log back in don't forget your passwords.

Disappointed not to be able to upload photos as well. Can take a photo and post but not upload a previous one. No point directing me to the website as I want to take the photos from my phone without the faff of moving them around. Other than that I found it nice to be able to combine my groups.
