About CL-150 for Android
CL-150 for Android is specifically designed for users of the CL-150 Technology Matrix for Critical Languages, which supports language and culture learning for specialized government purposes. As a licensed CL-150 user, you are already authorized to download and use this app.
To access the CL-150 for Android app:
1) Download the CL-150 for Android app.
2) Log in to your CL-150 account and click the “edit profile” link in the top right-hand corner to view your personal CL-150 User Name. Enter that user name when requested the first time you launch the CL-150 for Android app.
3) Select your language and list. When the download completes, begin learning. (A network connection is required for list selection and initial download.)
Note: CL-150 accounts are available only to US government and military personnel and programs. More information at www.transparent.com/government.

After a month of trouble since the update I finally got it to work after completely unistalling and deleting all files then reinstall. Works fine now, hope this helps for anyone with similar issues.

App is quite horrible. You can't mute it eithout muting your phone. You can't import decks, and everything is proprietary. It's just a shell of an app at this point and has been like this for years. I wouldn't use it if I wasn't forced to by work.

Everything about CL-150 and the website works horribly on mobile. Someone needs reprogram everything to actually work the way it is intended on a mobile platform.

Previous version was helpful. This version freezes up so frequently that it's not worthwhile. I hope that it will be fixed, but until then am switching to analog and looking for another better app. Very disappointing and unsatisfactory given how much was paid in tax dollars for this license. Used Moto G and Moto E (2nd Gen) phone and had similar results.

why does it need to have Call permissions? Why would it need to see who you are calling? Though if you upload .b4u lists to the Transparent language site you can download them with this app

Works great! You can access the flashcards from the server cloud or download them to your device. The cloud has thousands of cards in a ton of languages for you to learn (but make sure you setup English as your native one thou, or the selection will be heavily limited). Language learning anywhere, anytime!

For anyone asking about call permissions, it needs to see phone state and call permissions so your phone doesn't ignore incoming calls while the app is running. The app works okay except when it crashes and downloads random lists. They need to add support for more popular languages, too.

Has a bad habit of crashing every time I load it up but it ends up working soon after. I hope they figure these bugs out. Update: this latest update has broken my lists and keeps trying to log me in as some default "bestuser" it downloads lists I've never used and their delete system on the android is so useless it means I get to go spend the next 6 hours deleting lists and I'm sure those lists will re-download themselves afterwards just to be helpful.

When it works, its great. When it doesn't... a recent update broke compatibility with my phone for a week before it mysteriously began functioning again without an update. During this time the program would crash upon launch with no explanation.

This app has all the most common words you may need to learn major languages and several regional/tribal languages. It should be used as a tool for vocabulary acquisition through input (reading and listening) in conjunction with a language method, class, or practice with a language partner. This is not a failure of the app, but a requirement for a successful language study. Use this app to learn the words, then put them to work in writing and/or speaking for an all-encompassing learning experience.
