Transparent Language for Android
Uhh it wont let me sign in the mobil app
Great for beginners and really great for students to revise for GCSE pronunciation
It keeps asking for my username and password...and nothing happens
thanks!
Ever since I updated the app approximately 12 hours ago it will not work offline. If I am travelling, the point is for this to work offline. I use this while away from Wi-Fi and mobile data connections
Opened the app up after a couple of weeks of not using it and noticed there was a lot of network issues and the app was unable to pull up the languages I was learning. I decided to update and now the app doesn't even open claiming that it "unfortunately stopped working"... I just want to learn...
Exact same code that is on my Transparent Language computer screen. So can't use mobile app. Frustrating. More stars if fixed.
Transparent has stopped.
I was able to install after freeing up more memory on my phone. I guess the only reason I might not use it is that this seems just for drilling vocabulary but I'm not sure what list to start with, without trying them all. Sooo I need to stick with using the desktop and use this app for mild practice. Although... it's not challenging enough if you see the word in spanish then think of the English. It would be better the other way around
Downloaded this to work on language learning while not near my computer but it looks like mostly just vocabulary review. This will come in handy once I'm more comfortable in my new language but for now it's a bit tedious. I'll stick with the excellent computer-based learning for now!
The browser version is great...but I can't access anything through the app...it keeps saying "mobile user name and password" and I don't know what that means I need help.. I really love the this..its a really fun way to learn but I just can't get through the app:-(
I really like the app, it's not entertaining, but it is very educational
Garbage
Using it to learn my native language
In my case, I'm learning Japanese. The app has a MASSIVE amount of vocabulary (which i can use, but MUCH later). But what i need to start this particular language (the syllables and grammar) aren't availible on the mobile app. So I'll stick with your A+ web version for now. Appreciate the effort so far on the app!
Unable to download this app after many attempts. There are problems with this mobile platform.

Great as a desktop version , but mobile....non-existent,as it does not download!! Out it goes!!
Looks interesting, but the web interface doesn't work on my lightweight samsung tab, and you're not allowed on the mobile app until paid up. Maybe good on laptops, but for me end of story.
Every time I download the app, as soon as I go to open it for the first time, it crashes and won't open.
Garbage
When is Amharic going to be available on the mobile app?

The web version of this app is so so excellent, I would recommend it to everyone all the time. This app version is extremely limited. I hope there is an opportunity to develop it and get it closer to what is the available through the browser.
What if you don't have access to a library that subscribes to this site. I really want to learn foreign languages, (right now I'm working on Korean, German, and Chinese) and I think this site will help me, but I don't have access to a public library as I live in a very small town. Our library is part of our high school building... Please let me know if there is an alternative to this issue so that I can reach my goals.
There is no text at all on the flashcards, I can hear the audio but that's about it. Nothing when I flip the cards over.
Im loving it! :-) No problems to report.
really help me
Before the new update I wouldv'e rated the app 5 stars...but ever since the update the app has not been working...but it works on my tablet and my mom's phone, but not mine. When I first open the app, I click Spanish, Latin American and then General Vocabulary then it says it's loading but it takes forever and then eventually force closes itself. I've tried uninstalling and then reinstalling but does the same thing. Fix this soon!
I really enjoy this app, I can say it's very useful to learn new languages. In my opinion transparent should update the app to learn the alphabet, not only words or phrases and how to create sentences. I'm a native Portuguese (from Portugal) speaker and the only option is Brazilian Portuguese and their pronunciation and some words are completely different. And I noticed the app doesn't support British English in audio. Overall it's a good app and very helpful! I hope my review help for the future.
This is the place to go to learn a language...or two...or more!
