UDOT Traffic

Love it! 1.Back button exits app instead of retracing steps to an app home screen. 2.Weather station hitbox often obscure camera icons unless zoomed way in. 3.No way to manually select specific view from cycling cameras. 4.Camera icons don't have direction initials on icon. 5.Plow tracks don't always follow road. 6.Missing​ chain law map icon & start/finish color overlay when in effect. 7.Missing chain on/off areas map marker. 8.Real time plow camera images & data would be sweet like what Montana has.

I would like to know why it needs to access and "share" my personal data? Nortons keeps giving me alerts that it puts my phone at risk by sharing sim card data? Seriously considering removing it for that reason alone

This app contains a lot of useful and important info, but unfortunately the most important info (e.g., closure/reopening of mountain passes) is buried and often slow to be updated. Updates by individuals on social media are more current than what is on the UDOT app. So this is great for "static" traffic conditions like construction or seasonal closures, but UDOT needs to give it some attention before it can be a reliable source for current conditions.

Access to UDOT cameras, incident and construction info, weather conditions, and even snow plow location (and where they've been and are headed). Very handy, especially in winter.

I use this app anytime I need to get on I-15. It is great to help me avoid traffic issues. It is updated a lot and is usually very accurate.

You really think people will download this and then pull over on the side of the road to check this horrible app for the road conditions??? This app hardly moves, and when it does it lags around so much that you can't even follow along with what the apps doing. You would assume UDOT could afford a working app, but, I guess they're too cheap to have that made. They can't even fix a lot of potholes in roads.... Why should we think they can have a working app that doesn't take 5+ minutes to find my county

Very out dated, the app looks as if it was last updated 3-4 years ago. The Holo theme through out the app looks very bad and there isn't enough contrast between the text and its background (black text on grey background for example) making it very cumbersome to use

This app allows u to see everywhere in thr valley u have to travel to so that u can be prepared about what ur going to be traveling in before u even get out of bed or even put ur shoes on!! Very useful and helpful

Where is the snow plow data? I'm getting cold. Tell the world my story please

I like it except Tooele where I live doesn't have any traffic cameras on the app. But oddly the little towns around it do have traffic cameras. So it would be better if it had more cameras especially Tooele.

Its never accurate and never current. Traffic updates occur hours after accidents.

Can't use it unless you are in Utah somewhere. No good for me.

It keeps telling me there's an alert but it wont open the alerts for me to read it.

Use this app all the time in the winter.

The app works, but when you pull down the menu drop-down, everything is dark and it appears it isn't selectable. (i.e. Switching to Map.)

I was using this app while driving and it caused me to rear-end somebody and spill my drink. Now I have hot chocolate in my dashboard and it won't come out, thanks a lot UDOT!!!!

Got the same 6 notifications in a half hour. had to turn off the notifications

The map keeps recentering to my position, even when I'm trying to look at other parts of the map.

I does not work every time I checked the app it kick me right back out so pess of!!!!!!!#!!

Downloaded this app specifically for the snow plow updates, but cannot find any link or any info regarding tracking snowplows. Also, my version looks completely different from the pictures posted. It looks new, streamlined & up to date. What was downloaded & opened is older and is missing multiple components of the updates listed. Very disappointed with this app.

For people wanting to know how to find snow plow info, you have to go to the top right button and select "layers" and make sure snow plow is checked.

This is now a must have app for me. Thanks for putting all of this together.

helps me know what to look forward to traffic wise on the way to and from work. one added feature could be the great sign info on the freeway. get your head out of your app was awesome.
