One can say "nothing is perfect" and I can say this app is almost perfect. It has everything but there is only one pronunciation per word whereas many words in English have more than 1 pronunciation depending on their meaning (eg lead the verb and lead the material). It would be great to add the missing pronunciations and this dictionary would be perfect :-)

Just looking for all the features that it claims to have. The bookmark feature doesn't work on my Galaxy note -droid...other than that it's great.

Can't email my history off the device. Looks like yet another poor cousin to its iphone version that never gets updated.

Cannot import bookmarks. Sure, you can email your bookmarks but you'd have to put them all back in one by one. 5 stars down to 3 stars.

search box area (which supposed to b closed after searching a word?) occupies the whole screen, and cannot see the results in my phone

This was a great app especially on the iPhone, more options are available. With the latest update there is no bookmark option. The voice option may work after about the 3rd or 5th attempt. There isn't a note option. Needs work!!!!!!

Once you look for a word, you can't go back or locate the search option to look up other words

With the persistent drawer navigation, content is pushed to a tiny column and is essentially unusable on a phone.

Easy to use with interesting origin of words

This should be same as that.

I have this on all of my devices, it's a fabulous app.

Excellent the best !!

As a second language teacher I have found this app invaluable for both my students and I. Never having been a confident speller this little gem has helped me several times when I was unsure of a spelling or my spelling was questioned by students. Easy to use and a beautiful interface to work with. It is also very fast in returning its results.

I recently (finally) switched from iPhone to Galaxy S3 and was thrilled to see Wordbook available on Google Play. But feeling a bit let down as there is no puzzle (anagram and scrabble) solver feature like there is in the Apple version. What's up with that?! PLEASE ADD!!

Just ditched my iPhone for an Android phone. This is one of the first apps I purchased. I am a lousy speller. This dictionary is great at suggesting the right word for the mangled mess I sometimes type in. Love the thesaurus as it has plenty of suggestions for writing. Also use the random word function to increase my vocabulary.

It's an amazing app. The first app I had to purchase. So far the only one I've purchased.

App constantly crashes when searching for a word. Please fix!

I had this app on my iPhone and now android, I love it. Especially like the etymology, root origin of words when available.

The layout is friendly enough to navigate, but where did the option to jot down notes on your bookmarked definitions go?? I had this app on my iPhone for years, but now on the Android and purchased this with the hopes that it has the same functions as its predecessor. Not so. Will change my rating if this option comes back on the Android.

This is a good dictionary, but for someone switching from iphone to android and had this app before, there us no puzzle solver in the android version. For me, looses 1 1/2 starts because that was a feature I used regularly. Lost another 1/2 star because I've found a couple missing words when trying to verify for wordgames
