TWiT Cast

I've been a user of this app for a while now, and unfortunately when I updated to Android 7.1.1 on my Nexus the app stopped working. However, today the developer released an update fixing this issue, and the app is working normally again. I use my Chromecast for almost everything, and this app makes it very easy to watch my TWiT shows on the big screen. It's highly worth checking out if you're a Chromecast owner. The developer also does a good job maintaining the app.

Can not play any live video, only audio. episodes plays ok. When i try to play live video i get a error message: "Failed to start the playback media"

Thank you! Finally, an app that lets you WATCH the TWiT live video stream on your TV via a Chromecast device or LISTEN to the TWiT live audio stream on any speakers that you have connected to a Chromecast Audio device. Absolutely worth the money!

After a VERY long load time, I tried to play the live stream and I got a message saying that there were no cast devices available. I don't know where local audio isn't supported, but it's a pretty big omission.

All TWIT shows. Fast with no problems. Includes Live casts.

Awesome Twit app, episodes are not updated/listed as fast as I want it to be.

Works perfectly with both the original Chromecast and the latest one.

The idea seemed perfect, but didnt work.. Keeps saying "no cast device detected" , i just want to listen on my android while driving..

I downloaded and installed the application but i was not able to open it since it kept on crashing. Needless to say, after 24 hrs of trying I have uninstalled it.

The live streaming doesn't work. It just comes up with an error that there are no casting devices.

Make this app greater by adding download so we can listen later on the road on our androids.

Chromecasts TWIT Programs very well from my RemixOS Mini. Would love to have this in a tablet version with the ability to run landscape as my device outputs to a 1080 monitor in landscape mode. As has been mentioned before, would like to have chat and the ability to play on my android device.

Finally a replacement for TWiT Cast (from TWiT Pro) that was abandoned by its developer! Excellent app, thank you!

I've been looking for an app that does this for a long time.

Found this when watching AAA and have to say it is pretty good and replaces the old TWiT cast. One thing I would add is the ability to play the streams in your own local video player. You don't have to implement a player in your app but have the ability to play it on say VLC installed on your device. If this is implemented then basically it replaces the old depreciated TWiT Pro app.

Saw this app on All About Android and thought it looked interesting. Problem is that it does not recognize my Chromecast Audio. How about adding support for CCA with automatic selection of the Audio sream. [edit] The developer has now fixed this - very fast respomce

Love it, been looking for an app that allows me to chromecast Twit

Live stream viewer check, chromecast support check, ondemand viewer check, only thing missing is the chat support but thats fine should probably use a dedicated app for that anyways unless you want to add another tab with the chat and as soon as you cast the feed from the live tab it throws it to the chat room tab if your watching the live stream I'm not a Dev but if thats possible it would be awesome
