Englitina - English Concertina for Android
I have just downloaded this, with some uncertainty... BUT - it is very easy to use - and it sounds pretty good! Possible improvements? Well, I have a Galaxy Note, with a large (114 x 73mm) screen - this means that the buttons and layout are 50% bigger than the original. This makes starting easy, but limits range. I suggest - the app is "26 key" - on the Note it could be about 42 key at "original size" in the present layout - the width of the screen would allow a "parallel" (like the iPad version) rather than the present "end-on" layout, with (I think) all 48 keys. They could be reversed so you can read them more easily. Please make these changes. Please make them soon! Please please can I test them for you, as soon as possible!?!?!? And I made a mistake; I first thought that the note names were "upside down" in the natural playing positon, when seen from above. Remember that the 26 keys are the MIDDLE of the full concertina range & you won't repeat my boob...
Lots of fun! Great sounding and multi touch is fantastic on my Galaxy S3.
Fun and surprisingly easy to play. It's no substitute for the real thing (especially as the range is limited) but is a great way of getting used to where the notes are on an English concertina. If only the 48 key version was available for Android tablets.
Great app, I'm having a lot of fun with it.
Fantastic app, l had hours of amusement. May I suggest changing the " i " button as a quick switch of the tone instead of flipping through options as now. In my opinion it shall make it easier and faster to perform between different octave. Even better if we can have this function on both sides working independently. Looking forward to have updates, cheers.
Good app, but could be improved. On a large screen phone, the whole range could be accommodated at the correct scale. Secondly it would be great if you could rotate the keyboard 90 degrees as this would make it seem more like the hand/button relationship on the real instrument.
Great app on the s3. Good buy and lots of fun.
