Tractive GPS Pet Finder

Gps sometimes 12m out. Showed sheep was out of safe zone which it wasn't. Caused panic. Trying to update this morning in 3G network over 30min and cant pinpoint the sheep. Would like time schedules for safe zones

I bought this tracker after my 6 month old Akita puppy started running off from the park. Honestly it was the best thing I bought for her. It allowed me to trust her off the lead again. Now she's 13months old and we do not need to use the tracker anymore as she has matured a lot since then. Would recommend 100%.

The tractive gps works great, but I can't give a 5 stars yet, few features are still missing. - we can't set a custom notification for the alert (safety zone). - the option to beep the GPS is not easy to access.

The tracker is sitting on the table at home but the app is showing that it's traveling in my neighbours gardens. The web version seems more stable. What's the point of an app if it's totally misleading ?

Had a bit of trouble with the app crashing, but used web app to remove a duplicate tracker, and with a reinstall everything works OK. Does the job, very useful.

This has paid for itself a hundred times over, especially in stress. If it broke tomorrow I'd buy another one at once !

It mostly works wonderfully, particularly on the live tracking setting, and have found my dog within a few metres of where it says he would be after he has taken liberty to break out & have a grand adventure. We get quite a few false alerts though. Mostly because we can't match our boundary shape. Would great if we could draw the safety zone around the boundary rather than in a rectangle or circle shape - but that's the only suggestion for improvement.

When it works it is great. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to connect and find my dog.. Sometimes 20 minutes. Today it stopped working. 5 months TRACTIVE HAS NO 800 NUMBER customer service is thru email My dog ran off 2 times today. I'm pissed. Very frustrating.

Fantastic app, GPS could be a bit quicker but provides an amazing peace of mind. One suggestion, to add a icon on the mobil app to be able to initiate the bell on the tracker. Fantastic product!!

Really great product. Responsive, generally accurate. Customizable safe zones and alerts has given our family comfort and our puppy safety without cruelty.

I love it i can find my dog anywhere i go and if she gets lost it will find her

I'm using this to keep track of my mum who has dementia. As long as she has it on, we have peace of mind of where she is, and whether we need to go and rescue her.

Works great. Picks up the signal in the woods as well as open and the range is great Out of town and home. Can follow the tracker well.

Absolutely no go!!! The location is not precise (min 1 block away) in Vienna. The battery is unbelievably weak. Hard to figure out if the battery is charged or not. Hard to understand if the devise is switched on or off. No indication light burning. This device is not reliable at all. I do not recommend it to anyone. Complete waste of money and time (and may be your dog). I paid 50e for the device and 70 for subscribtion - HOW CAN I GET MY MONEY BACK?

I'm updating this review after support from tractive. The device does work well for most of the time and is great for tracking a dog that might go awol. As far as I can tell it is the only sim based one on the market at does true live tracking as needed. However it occasionally seems to get stuck and require restarting, which means I can't give it 5 stars

It's 4 pretty accurate and works great for keeping up with my lab. Her tracker has been through very heavy rain, and her roaming our 22 acres going through mud, creeks, and pounds and has withstood all the conditions she has put it through. So far so good. The only down fall is the battery has to be recharged every other day due to my lab being so active and constantly risking around.

It's great, funny to see where my cat goes when he's out. Helps me find Thor in 5 minutes. The only downsides are the short battery life and the size (a little to big for a cat). Otherwise the best thing in the world for pets.

The GPS collar and app is great, our dog has ran away a few times but now we will k ow where she goes if she manages to get out of the house and garden again

The dog leaves safe zone when he's hasn't left at all. Its happened 3 times in the last week. As I am dog-sitting it makes me more nervous than content.
