Dynomaster for Android
It's good for comparing engine running conditions or two different cars.
First app I ever brought and I love it!!!
This app is bullshit i cant believe i paid for something that doest work,,,guess i shoulda known better
Website states it can do custom speed or distance ETs. I need an app that will automatically start at a certain speed (which this one does), can interface with my Bluetooth GPS (which this one does) and can measure to 800' and 1000' in addition to 1/8 and 1/4 mile (which the website SAYS this one can do, but for the life of me I can't figure out). If it can allow me to measure out to a certain distance or even provide graphing that shows ET at certain distances, this would be a SIX star app for drag racing!
So far off on times that it borders on ridiculous.
If you say it's inaccurate guess what it's because of 3 factors 1. You didn't punch in your car stats accurate 2. Your phone's accelerometer sucks 3. Your gps is inaccurate my truck's dyno was only 2hp less than than what the app said
Very good app!
Love this app, people that rate low don't know how to use it. It registered an 8 hp difference with my new CAI on my altima ser
Waste of money, my speedo tells me how fast I'm going
Useless. Was looking for a replacement to my dyno app on iPhone that uses the accelerometer like a Gtech... this does not do it. Misleading!!!!!!!!!!!
Brandon Fun app to mess with, close to actual dyno numbers. Its off by about 3%, like john said with the supra twin turbo.
Upon opening, it shows a tip then goes to the market. Am I missing something?
Had on G 1. About to try on g2x.
The coolest app I have!!
You have to be smart if you are gonna use this app
cool features! Close to my dyno numbers.
Useless application. Ets and trap speeds are not even close. Dyno numbers are also inaccurate.
This is WAY off. My two bikes have 232 and 267 HP, this says they are around 500. My car has 350 HP and this says 160.1/4 miles way off 8.4 at 56 mph.
Extremely inaccurate. Waste of money.
Well maintained app that gets better every release.... numbers are close to real dyno figures, though e.t.s would be better with bluetooth 5hz gps.
Not accurate at all. Keeps saying I'm making 850+ rwhp. My car only makes 400 rwhp ehh. Fun to mess with but not accurate
Ok but takes a lot to get a good gps signal. Maybe my phone
Pocket mode not working! When the screen off, not record the data. Please fix it! Thanks
I did some tests against Racelogic Performance Box and G-Tech Fanatic Pro SS and among all apps that I tested on Android & Windows Mobile (RaceChrono, Ulysse Speedometer and Car Performance with external 10Hz GPS, Torque Pro with ELM327 OBD2 module and aDyno with built-in accelerometer), Dynomaster presented TOTALLY INNACURATE results. Support answered after receiving all the logs that "they believe it's due to the Movement Start Mode triggering too early due to accelerometer sensitivity". So I asked for refund as they stated on their website I have 30 days for it. They didn't answer since then, no single answer despite several emails. They also didn't issue corrected version of the app. It is really surprising that some people gave them 5 starts and nobody has really checked its accuracy. Despite this there are some other problems. Sometimes when I export my results to excel the whole app crashes, app uses only 1 core on multi-core CPUs, speech works very unreliable, it is also very laggy - when I press Start button it takes several seconds to start, even on powerful devices like HTC One X/Sensation or Asus Infinity Tab. So I warn you, think twice before you purchase this app.
(1) The realtime logging rate doesn't keep up with my car's acceleration. Example, a 0-60 run. I run the car up to 62 mph (my redline, 2nd gear, mathematically, rev limited at 7200 rpm) thus it cannot go faster. App clocks me at 54 mph. Not even close, and this is a consistent event. (2) Developers never responded to an email after purchase. BEFORE purchase, response was quick. I understand phone gps limitations. Perhaps a time vs distance doublecheck type thing would help.
VERY accurate. Never more than one mph off from my own speedometers (drive a 350Z so I have 2) in real time. DROID RAZR Maxx. The fact that it can start when the car starts moving is great because it let's you focus on the driving instead of pushing buttons. Money well spent!
After spending a while setting up frontal area and drive train loss it was suprisingly accurate.
Not bad, a cars speedometer and tachometer usually show higher speed and rpms. The only truly accurate device is a chassis dyno.
If it would acquire GPS at all for some reason never will for me
Along with trackmaster these two apps are the best i have ever seen. Unreal, everything these apps do its amazing.
Great app.
I want my money back. It will not connect to gps, but my navigation works fine. This app is garbage and I want my money back!
This is worth it
Good app
This app is the bees knees. If used correctly all the data is 94-99% spot on. The app needs accurate proper information from you. Weight the vehicle don't guess.
Unfortunately wasn't even close on my car.
For this or any dyno app to be accurate you must take 5 minutes to enter in factors such as your car/bikes weight, frontal drag area and drag coeffient. Dont leave a 1 star rating just because your to dumb to under stand that.
I don't understand how this app can be so accurate without tapping into my ODBII interface!
excellent customer service! helped resolved issue w/ phone not recognizing app after security wipe. app was purchased months ago
