TP-Link tpPLC app lets you conveniently view and manage your TP-Link powerline devices via your smart device.
Simply connect your smart device to the Wi-Fi network of a compatible TP-Link powerline extender and start managing with ease. It will list all the compatible powerline adapters and powerline extenders in your current network, and allow you to manage your powerline devices individually as well as the whole powerline network with a few taps.

• Display information of all compatible powerline devices in the current network.
• Manage a powerline device such as changing its device name, turning on or off its LEDs, viewing its data rate, resetting to factory defaults, and removing it from the current network. For a powerline extender, you can also change and schedule its Wi-Fi settings, and redirect to the web management interface.

The manual tells me to download and the app isnt compatible with my model. Great. Also cant acess the extender through chrome, guess I just cannot change the default networks password and name. GREAT PRODUCT GUYS, KEEP IT UP!

Thought it would work with my powerlines as the pc app does. This app only lists 6 or 8 compatible devices. Pointless. It should work with them all. Uninstalled.

It is supporting some of my devices... The firmware update asking not to use the device your updating is a little confusing and it actually does nothing anyway??? For a company this size producing good quality products, this needs to get better and quickly!

An embarrassingly short list of supported devices. In the manual of my TL-PA9020P it says to download the tpPLC Utility to manage the powerline network. But the TL-PA9020P is not on the supported devices list. Useless!

I have a tpa4220 kit that is powerline and has wifi on one adaptor. Connected to that wifi i cant find either poweline device. Did TP Link who make and sell many powerline kits really make such a limited app? Its not intended for this kit, infact not intended for most thier adaptors, just 5 models. maybe change the app name.

Good app for the very limited devices it supports.

It works perfectly with my WPA8730 V1, despite not being on the compatibility list. It works whilst connected to the main router. There is no need to connect directly to the extended Wi-Fi access point. I'm giving five stars to balance out the one star reviews. In the event that your device is not compatible just use the web interface.
