TP-LINK tpCamera

Good camera when it's working. Setuo & WiFi connection is easy & works away from home (not sure how it bypasses dynamic IP issue?) Have issues with sound ( but seems resolve with beta version of app) , but main gripe is pan/tilt control, its really irritating (need option to pan/tilt in any plane without having to cycle through full motion?) + No zoom option! Must say TP link support is very good.

The updated version appears to have a lot of promise but the notifications still don't seem to function reliably. Email notification of motion or sound is, at best, hit-or-miss. It seems to work one minute and not the next. Reinstalling the camera from scratch seems to help for a short while but then it will go back to sporadic functionality. There is a new feature in the Ap that offers to notify me through the Ap which is interesting. It didn't work initially but after a short while it decided to work. There is still a lot of work for the development team to do in order to bring the software and firmware up to a reasonable level. You would think that they might work out the software issues before selling the hardware... sigh...

App was simple to set up, worked for a while then very sporadic. Cannot tell if it is the app or camera but it usually says 'online' but won't load. No support queries answered.

Login doesn't work on my huawei p10, android ver. 7.0. Please fix it asap. Thx!

Please fix works on Nexus 4 but not on Pixel, getting message "Login timed out, Please check internet connection"

It do not work in the app there is no tp link N28505 camera.

Have to keep it on charge to stay on otherwise the camera goes off and it's wireless I have fibre optic so it's nothing to do with the WiFi

App it's just ok. There needs to be a way to turn the camera of as soon as I get home. Either by location service or a button on the home screen. Right now, you have to click on the camera, go too the camera settings click on the schedule then turn off the notifications but the camera is still on at that point. Why do I have to have two apps for all my tp stuff? Shouldn't this all be in one app?

Doesn't work on my Pixel phone for the same reasons states by other users. Please fix ASAP.

The app is good, but lacks the option to view multiple cameras at the same time. Can tplink app team look into adding the feature to view two or more tplink cams in one view?

Camara wont stay connected the app for any time. Have to keep reintstalling the camara..

Motion detection notifications do not work. Dont state something you can't deliver.

I have to agree with all the comments regarding its functionality but I bought the camera after it was recommended by my brother. Basically he said once you initiate the firmware update, most of the problems are ironed out. He was right, that said, I started to download the firmware update & my phone locked up (Motorola G4) & this happened twice. Once I had the firmware/software update in place, I haven't had a problem & the camera works like a dream. It monitors the French doors into the garden and enlightens us to our dog's antics. I have had a couple of "warning" emails (son coming home at 3am drunk). OK, what pisses me off is when companies offer a product for sale & issue software that is so basic & not really fit for purpose, to add insult to injury it is Joe Public that figures out the problems & reports them back to the development teams so that they can be fixed, all of this takes time & effort. What value of lost sales because of developing an excellent product but it gets bad press because of poorly designed software?? ;-) Update: 7/6/2017 it seems that the TP-link team have been working hard on updating the software & recent updates have made strides in bringing the software in line with an excellent camera, NC-450, thank you very much, it can only get better.

Used it for my garbage disposal. The quality and ease of use is amazing!

Unreliable streaming, more time offline than online.

Would be great if it worked, but keep on running into bugs and errors, camera keeps getting disconnected etc.

After the latest firmware update, it was really nice with the motion detection feature.

Always ask to insert memory card even when card is already inserted. But under setup , report card is functioning properly

One NC220 works... But when I connected the 2nd NC220, both cannot be added on the Camera Control app.p

Great Apps for a great camera. I figured that only accept no more than 32GB SD card!!!

Maybe add feature ddns, check storage capacity, button previous and delete data storage if memory full

With the latest update, the camera is no longer submitting audio.
