The primary feature of this app though is its extremely accurate stroboscope ability. Uses include everything from checking the RPM of your car engine, to calibrating a record turntable, and even to finding the speed of a spinning fan. As far as a fun & professional blinky type Strobe app can possibly go on an Android phone, this would be the end result. For just throwing the Developer of this app a few bucks for the pro-version, you get all the bells and whistles you can imagine in an app like this, and then some. It makes it an extremely versatile app when it comes to the usage of light and frequency. It's much more than a strobe. So much thought, detail, and work was put into this app. The user interface & usage instructions rock.

I've tried a number of strobe apps, and I've found that most are severely lacking and are toys at best. This app gives a much wider range of frequencies than most and tweaks to improve performance. Unfortunately even with tweaks I cannot seem to get smooth performance at 50 and 60 Hz on either a Note 3 or 2014 Moto G.

The only problem I have with this app is that it doesn't hardly ever sync up with my music perfectly. Usually it's off by a few bpm. There should be a way to type in the bpm you want it to be, and it sync with the song, at that bpm.

No offline use is ridiculous for a paid app but this is *the* app if you want a strobe/tacho measurement "instrument." It is surprisingly rich in functions and fine settings so disco use is not precluded. Comes pretty close to replacing commercial equipment as long as you understand that we're talking low end (less than 30-40 hz for slow processors) due to android performance limitations. However, there's plenty of applications in this range, balancing wash machine loads for example.

Dev...you really need to fix the online/offline issue. I can't open this app without a data connection? This is so ridiculous! A strobe light app should NEVER EVER use up a person's data allowance! I use it for RPM measuring (540rpm and 1000rpm) for agricultural equipment (PTO SPEED) Very handy for farmers. Searched very long for this app. ALL FARMERS SHOULD HAVE IT. Consider renaming this app to "PTO SPEED" for everyone in agriculture to find it easier. (implement dealers and farmers)
