It's a good app for playing music and videos, moves on

Bullshit

M70%

Weak

M70%
by M####:

Do the resize arrows actually diappear after a while? Didn't seem like it. What the is the point of them anyway? Most players today autosize to fit your screen. This app still needs work. Put the ads up once you get a finished product.

M70%
by M####:

Does not show video thumbnail while I have them for every movie. Shows ads while there other similar apps with no ads and working previews.

Just installed it few days ago and getting the feel of it. If it pans out, I'll give it the 5th star

M70%
by M####:

Totally useless for playing music, it cannot play iTunes encoded mp3s, has no worthwhile playing controls, just a pause, will not play a full album, just individual files. Scrolling folders is difficult as you can't grab the scroll bar. Worst of all, it stops playing when the screen sleeps. Also makes no allowance for the adverts, so no chance of getting to the last folder or file on a list.

The application works flawlessly with video files streamed from raspberry pi based OSMC Kodi media server. I have not tested streaming of music files as yet - it is not yet an immediate requirement.

If its to have ads below your movie you're watching... Then it's the perfect app to use. Or pay the premium to get ads free. Uninstalling the app, disappointing.

Z70%
by Z####:

Either this player needs to play everything in landscape or give you a button to play in landscape mode. If u select screen rotation it works but the video restarts each time you change orientation. Very annoying watching on a phone and video restarts because you move. The dlna side works perfect.

P70%
by P####:

I can understand wanting to run in landscape mode. I don't get why it's necessary to change from landscape right-side-up to landscape upside-down, especially when it's only for some screens, not others.

It's quick lightweight and streams from my shared folders to my android devices flawlessly. Works for me!

It's not much of a controller if doesn't let you choose a renderer!

X70%

It plays all my videos from my server exactly as it should but when I press settings it immediately crashes. I had planned to see if I could pay to remove the ads but I guess that's not possible at the moment.

Response is quick but need to be able to search for tunes whilst one is playing

This app does not see DLNA servers on my LAN. Other apps do, including smart TV. This mean this app does not work at all, at least for android. So don't bother, use other DLNA apps. UPDATE: The issues was not in the app itself. Apparently Cox Communication, my ISP, blocks DLNA servers on your Local Area Network if you use their router/modems. A work around is to use your own router in series with theirs, thus blocking them from control your internal bandwidth, where your ISP has no business. Their firmware also blocks transferring of common audio and video files too from one device to another. This work around works with that as well. I noted: while FLAC was blocked, MKA and MKV were not, remuxing media into those container can be stream and transferred into the LAN as they didn't block those. Cox has been known to do other weird things such as tagging local station as copy once to prevent using your own DVR system, which is probably why they now block DLNA unless you subscribe to the "contour" DLNA server. Time Warner and Comcast often follow them as Cox is more of a "Test Market" company.
