FIFILI - Tower Hamlets for Android
FiFiLi is one of several similar apps used by councils in the UK. It allows you to report (Fi) the bad(Fi) or the good (Li) and uses your Smartphone GPS to report your location. I prefer other apps such as "love Clean Streets" and "FixMyStreet" as these have a public map displaying all nearby issues. FiFiLi doesn't have this transparency - only the council know you have reported it.
Now it's working ok-ish, however reporting issues to Tower Hamlets Council results in... nowt. As useful as a chocolate fire grate in that case.
Doesn't work with an S5. Crashes every time when you select a photo.
Can we have an equivalent for reporting illegal parking? This is a much bigger problem than graffiti or litter but there seems to be no enforcement action.
Works after latest update, thanks :) great way to help the community
Updated version now looks like it works on my Nexus 5. Will send in some updates and see if anything happens...
Excellent app , very quick, very effective and very useful.
Perfect for the new generation. Inline with current technology. Straightforward and easy to use.
Crashes when taking photos. C'mon developers, sort it out. Would be useful if it worked. Bug fixes? Think not. Swiss army knife? More like a blunt plastic one.
Sadly it crashes on my nexus 4 when I do anything on it. Load a photo or try to capture a photo. I enjoy being part of the community and helping my neighbourhood but can't use this app to do so sadly.
Simple, easy to use and effective. Excellent use of modern day technology allowing the public to report issues when ever they want. Definitely a thumbs up from me!
I haven't tried it yet, but really looking forward to it. Advertise it around the parks as well! Much better than a phone number which no one calls.
It doesn't hurt to report something that is bad. Also show appreciation when you find something good .This is the tool to do it. Well done LBTH.
...as it crashes each time I attempt to take a Fix It photo.
TH sent an email saying search for find it fix it love it - that does not find this app
Keeps crashing on Android
Nexus 5
This app concept is good. However it is poorly Constructed. Firstly it looks childish secondly I tried to report something and it asked for email address which was optional but once ready to send it. It forced me to send via my personal email account ..so that would mean they would have my email address which means it's not optional etc come on tower hamlets sort it out
Very effective way to highlight areas of concern in Tower Hamlets, not to mention things I like in the borough too.
Great idea but not working on my phone
