Tablet Remote

This is the most amazing app ever. However gta3 won't work well with my phone (galaxy proclaim to Droid RAZR). The game won't let me turn right or shoot. I don't know if you ment for this app to work on MCPe but it did seem like it. The only thing I could do was switch slots. If there is a way to fix I would like to know about it. Also if we could customize our input method that would be great. This app has great potential.

So far so good. One of the things that I like is the simplicity in connecting. You can connect from either device (receiver or transmitter) and it works. Haven't been using it long enough to give it a full 4 or 5 stars as the main reason I downloaded this is to see if I can use my tablet as a controller for the new Samsung Gear VR setup with my S6 Edge+ once I get it. So I'll update this review once I've tried it out as a poor man's Gear VR controller.

I love the app, it makes it easy to change the song on my tablet when i'm in a different room. I have a Samsung Galaxy S 5 and it worked great till i tried changing to dark background. now every time i start up the app it crashes and i can't uninstall it and re-install cuz it will still crash. Don't get me wrong great app! but if you could fix that, i dunno if it's just my phone or if more people are having that issue.

Best remote app I've seen so far but had to read instructions before figuring out music control only shows up in portrait mode. Would like setting to turn off rotation detection. Also having issues with devices disconnecting over wifi. Maybe add a current connection widget to the remote screen for easier reconnects.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Installation and setup was quick and painless. The UI is great, and the control is instant with zero lag. Fantastic. It being free is just crazy talk, so I bought Cannonbowl just so I could send the developer some money. And just for reference, I used a Motorola Milestone (a.k.a. Droid) running Android 2.1 to control a Nexus 10 running Android 4.2.2.

Connected first time perfectly. Then after leaving both devices (both Xperia M4 AQUA'S e2303) off and trying again today they will not connect. Some kinda weird big error about attempt to invoke method on null object.. Other device is fine.. (tried Bluetooth and wifi. Reinstalled and cleared data and unpaired both devices and trying again but same thing happens. Fix please and I'll give a full five star < 3

Maybe you can help me since the people who developed droidmote don't seem to care. I need touch profiles. And support for two analog sticks and buttons. They haven't fixed the issue I have with their app that makes playing fps and racing games impossible. Their app only supports two touch points at a time while using their game pad. It force closes and the developers don't respond to emails. I'll pay for this app if you add these features..

Paired right away on Bluetooth and the interface is very unique. It controls my device when playing Spotify just great. My only problem is that it does not do anything when the screen turns off. I don't want it on all the time or it will burn in. When it can control Spotify with the screen off this gets 5 stars.

I would like to see extra features: 1. Remote: Mousepad. 2. Settings: Customize remotes. 3. Settings: Animations on/off. 4. Settings: Orientation sensor on/off. I like this remote for it's bluetooth connection and easy setup. Can't seem to find any decent bluetooth remote controll app out there for my android TV chip and phone. But this is the closest I've come to what I'm looking for.

I thought it couldn't work for me since I have an old android phone (2.2). But I was able to control video playback on my Siragon 4N tablet with no problem! Also, I was able to use my phone's keyboard to type on my tablet, now THAT'S frigging amazing. As for the games, this APP is better used with games that let you modify key/button mapping (like emulators), but I was able to play Riptide GP 2 on my tablet with no problem at all. This app deserves a lot of praise.

Unfortunatly some keys are not what they are suposed to, start should bring the in game menu in gta but it doesn't, circle does, also x should be the acceleration Burton but it's not, it doesn't do anything. Even tho i have set gta 3 as my perferad controller. I would appreceate if your could add the possibility to love and resize the controlls also add Analogs. Thanks

The keyboard does not work via wifi connection, nor am I able to access many menu items. Using this on my current phone and tablet with an old Xperia arc running xbmc acting as a media player connected to the tv.

All are very good, one only thing of the problem is the keyboard which I only type to search for my entertainment needs but doesn't work. I check already the setup on my tablet but two are check already and I try it but wont work. Also, I love all Xperia® Games which is optimized and it's work TESTED 100%. But make it sure that you update the keyboard that I am requested. All components are everything OK.

Love this tiny sized useful app. Clean interface. 132KB is good enough for a useful remote. Landscape mode = gamepad, portrait mode = Remote; very smart indeed (but better add some explanations about the gamepad mode will appear in landscape) Suggestion: 1. Vibrate on touch, especially for gamepad 2. Add wireless mouse support

Like another reviewer mentioned, the keyboard does not work via WiFi connection but works fine in Bluetooth mode... They need that fixed. This app definitely has potential.. It would be amazing if they can add a touchpad/mouse/gesture feature... That is what I'm looking for... I want to control my tablet using my old phone... Just need mouse ability! Also ability to customize remote button interface would be nice too

When it works, it works perfectly. But there are times when I just can't get the devices connected, no matter what I do. I tried unpairing and re-pairing, rebooting both devices and even clearing application data/cache, still they would not connect. Next they they'd again work fine without intervention. Please fix!!

So I tried everything again, but this time on Bluetooth and everything worked. I'm using a non-rooted xperia acro s as receiver and nexus 7 as transmitter. When using wifi, error regarding not being able to add to SDP profile is constantly shown, and turning bluetooth on should get rid of this, yeah even though wifi is used. Kindly add exception handling on that. Also, the keyboard does not work over wifi, not sure why though. So to use all the features, use Blueetooth!

Good app considering there are not many of its kind on the market. There is a slight bug with the keyboard input over Wi-Fi which causes an error toast (notice) to appear stating error1 every time the keyboard is used. The app could also do with a touchpad option as a many apps require swipe actions, I've uninstalled (having tried this out a few times). My suggestion would be to get more functionality and less flashy... The animations are overkill and colors are a bit too bright. Still good effort

It's a great app and does just what it says- however, the typing feature hasn't seemed to be working. I tried following the instructions and changing some things up, but no dice. A mouse pad feature would also be really handy!

I paired my Galaxy Nexus (master) and Nexus S (slave) effortlessly over wifi. Worked OK, except I had 2 nasty bugs: 1). I can press the search button on the GN, and the NS search field will expand as I expect. However, I can't type in the text field via the GN. 2). I loaded YouTube on the NS, and some scribbled audio played. Not sure what happened there, but it was awful. Hoping for fixes to these issues. Will happily buy the app in that case.

No rooting devices, free and WORKS ! I was after an app that uses my Android phone as a remote control when my Android Tablet is hooked up to my TV to play movies. I wanted a bluetooth solution as many hotels don't have decent WIFI. I've got all that with this free app. Now I can travel without any worries about watching TV in comfort. Installed this within minutes and didn't have to look at instructions. Well done and many thanks.

Everything works fine, except when I try to type Uppercase letters on the remote device, it just registers lowercase. Connected to a Samsung Galaxy Tab S over Bluetooth. I have tried connecting various phones, all have the same problem. Caps lock doesn't work either. I really need this fixed for the app to be useful.

This is a good app. The only issue I have is that it doesn't respond well to pop-up windows on tablet (Transformer Prime). No matter which arrows I press on remote [phone side] it won't access options in a pop-up window.

I'm currently waiting for some FC30 bluetooth controllers to come in the post, but in the mean time this is very responsive! "Super Mario optimized" indeed! My only complaint is the need for a back button on the game controller screen.

I am connecting Lenovo A3300 with note 3 neo duos as keyboard. It work the 1st time, but backspace became delete button after few typing. Restarted, n it is not working no more. Still a lot of bug need to be fix. Good work. Btw, I need this app coz I am going to use my tablet as my pc, n I dun wanna bring my keyboard around. OK! Successful connection 2nd time but still have the backspace problem after typing for 1 minute

Setup everything, connect your device. Now, go to Remote, then ABC Or whatever it is. Now, look in your notifications and enable your keyboard again, and try typing. Please thumbs up so people will know how to do this :) This is most useful in android 4.0 +

PS - I had the text input issue on my Droid RAZR Maxx, it was resolved by going to the phone's keyboard settings and changing the input back to the Android default keyboard (didn't work with Swype). Only change the input on the phone to your normal keyboard (otherwise, when you press the ABC button, it instructs the app to open itself so it does nothing), the input on the tablet needs to be set to Tablet Remote. Had no problem connecting once I read your instructions and installed and configured the app on my Xoom as well. Great design! I love using the game pad. The media controls seemed a little buggy, but if the bugs get worked out, I'd happily pay for this app, this is something that I've been looking for for a long time.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I was hoping to use my Droid 2 slider keyboard as a bluetooth keyboard for my Toshiba Thrive. I can't get it to work. It keeps saying connection failed. I've tried all the different settings, but still nothing. Oh well.

Its a good app and it works well but there needs to be a number of things looked at....nothing major but it would just improve the app and I would be able to give it 5 stars. * I don't like that the layout changes if you tilt the phone . I would rather I choose if i want the gamepad which to be honest I never will. * I don't like the fact that it kills the connection when the screen turns off. There has to be a way that it keeps it alive. I don't want my screen on all the time for the app function. * The app also suffers from slow down and this needs to be addressed * Keyboard function doesn't work on my one x to control my nexus 7. (I'm using the swiftkey keyboard)

On a 10 hour car ride right now with a 1 and 4 year old. Everyone is happy because I can control the videos on the tablets in the back from the front seat! Thanks!

Finally got this thing to connect. But it is a literal remote. I wanted my phone screen to show me my tablet screen. That's not this at all. It's just a few buttons, that look hand drawn and whatever face keys your phone has. Not all of the buttons work with many apps. And this app doesn't keep the tablet screen on despite having that option checked in the settings. EDIT DO NOT DNLD MALWARE BROKE MY TABLET HAD TO FACTORY RESET. DISABLED MY KEYBOARD, ONLY WAY TO FIX WAS RESET.

All work good . control volume change channel returm home all fine except keyboard some error appears saying not connected to sdp server from turnesol

No touch pad support. Have to keep reconnecting. Auto connect, remembering last connection would be nice. Keyboard input does not work right. For example when I type @ it puts in "2". With the glitch it has its useless to me.

It has great features it just needs those analog sticks for all gamepads the Z triggers for Nintendo and L2 And R2 For Xperia Play/GTA III

Works great, apart from a bug with the keyboard. Once the shift key is selected once on the remote (to write a capital letter, followed by small caps), all subsequent letters are also in caps and the keyboard stops working. So if you only type in small caps, it works great. I assume this is a bug - can you please fix this? Would be much appreciated!

I would give it five stars, when it connects it the best app I've seen , great ui and functionality. But the problem is one day it connects both devices just fine and other days it doesn't connect at all. Fix this bug and you get 5 stars easy. But if anything just fix bug very annoying

Once you've got this app connected, the remote capabilities for an Android TV box is brilliant... but... connecting to a bluetooth device has a TERRIBLE list I have a large variety of headsets, gamepads & keyboards connected to my Android phone, so my bluetooth list has about 20 devices on it, and for some (rather odd reason) the connections list on this app includes headsets What the developer REALLY needs to do is change the list so that the items on it exclude bluetooth objects that this app obviously can't control, if that happened then I'd happily give this five stars, but at the moment I have to randomly tap connection items as the description text is far too small to be readable on a full HD phone screen, and will be even worse on QHD screens

Is a good app but it does the opposite insted if being able to control my tablet . The tablet can only control the phone and every time i want to connect it it say connection aborted cause of software. My phone is and LG optimus please help i want to be able to control my tablet because i use it to watch movies it would be very helpful to control it from my phone.
