TouristEye - Travel Guide

Installed this app on my samsung galaxy s6 edge and nothing happens. When i go to open the app, the only thing that happens is a white screen with the logo in the middle appears, and then an error about my internet connection appears. My internet is fine which is obvious.

I like most of the app, very useful in planning my trips. Some bugs/kinks/suggestions: 1. if I try to add a place using search, there's no check mark after I found what I was looking for, so I can't add it. 2. Can you maybe sort the suggested places by popularity? Most of these seems to be local destinations (restaurants, stores) and not really places tourists normally go to. 3. Is it possible to add a trip planner? So I add some places and it will tell me where I should go first, second, and so on...

I've been using it for a day now and I just love the whole idea and the visuals. Please please create a category within a trip, where i can add my own list of things to do. At the moment i can select only from suggestions. Would like more content and descriptions in general. Good job for the rest.

Takes me immediately to weekend places around me. Every time I want to save, I must log in and then it takes me immediately back to the weekend wishlist. Not easy to use. No info about how to use the app on Google store. Am I really that stupid? (Please don't answer that!!)

I used to love lonely planet guides, I even watched their documentaries when I was little. I had big expectations for this app, but many things are missing, lots of locations don't even exist in the search, and if you plan for a trip on the road there should be a way to add the path and suggest locations along the way. I think I might be better off just planning my vacations with Google maps.

The "Weekend Suggestions" function is useless since it does not use your locale. The app recommends "local" weekend activities for me literally on the other side of the planet and from pole to pole. I have no problems with other location based services on my phone. As a research tool it's fine except there are better apps (Trip Advisor to name one) for that. The Lonely Planet quality just isn't here despite they're the owners.

Some one else had a problem as per the reviews I have seen. But worked for me.

Compare this with trip it and tripadvisor, this has the cleanest UI. However, many of the attractions are not here. This I need to use web UI to add the places, which is somewhat buggy.

I love it but can't figure out how to get maps for each location incase of no signal?

Give a lot of hints for travelers! Please make option to revise our travel plan. Thank you!

Should have option to search results for a whole country or region. Can only choose a city and I'd like to view sites within specific categories i.e. Natural, Historic, Nightlife, Architecture etc.

Seems good for planning our trip. Could use more places to see in not so large cities.

Not sure what it's supposed to do because I can't get it to do anything. Very disappointed. Using Galaxy 12.2 Pro Uninstalling.

Not too many filters for the kind of places or descriptions, just lists across genres. Good to have, can be richer.

Don't really understand the point of this App. It suggests some nice places but all of them are in different countries... Trip Advisor is better as you can find points of interests nearby.

I've been using this app for a couple of years now and is a must for every traveler.

I only just got this app, but on first impressions it looks very useful. It has quick functionality and is easy to navigate.

Lot of work is need on this APP as it does not recognize most of the location in India and hence it is not easy to plan a trip of any kind using the app. I would love it if it can become more user friendly and has more options to customize the trip.

Had issues adding another person to a trip. Sync between two devices does not work correctly. Mine was way out of sync with the Mrs trip details.

App seems good just now. We'll see once ive used it more

I think Lonely Planet can provide much more information than what is in this app. A lot of destinations has nothing to do list in under them.

Best in class, but still need some user friendly features, like using it offline also.

Trying out this app for the fist time. So far so good.

Great app, but would be awesome if it had more maps to see what's close by other areas you've saved. I walk a lot of places and it'd just be nice to see what's within walking distance and plan it out better that way. Otherwise, it's a wonderful app!

It seems like a good app for your travels and as a memo pad.

The app is great how you can search for places all over the city to add them to the trip. The offline function makes this amazing! The only thing that it needs is a button to get directions on the map or copy the address. Also when adding locations to the trip a long press to get details would be great too! Amazon app and so helpful!

Just loaded it on Samsung S6 and loaded all the places we are visiting in the Far East, will review again when I return

Just started our trip - this app looks promising!

Would prefer to have option to choose cache location.

Only used for approximately an hour when asked to rate. What can I say? So far it's showing places that have interesed me and I've categorized them based on locale. I believe this app will be useful in that it will get down in one place the things in my head, forcing me to plan, for trips at the very least, where and when it's realistically possible to take the ones that I've had rattling in my head, along with some that weren't!

Nice and cool app to add some activities and places to visit in your trip

This app has me pleasantly surprised. Navigation is a bit awkward at times but the app has all sorts of content!

Finally, a travel app with all the info you could want, plus you can download it all so you're not reliant on WiFi!
