Touch Bionics’ my i-limb™ mobile application provides users with the flexibility to customize their prosthesis while on the move.
Features:
• Instantly access 24 quick grips and 12 fully customizable my grips™ providing effortless control of your prosthesis with the single tap of your mobile device (only available with i-limb ultra revolution)
• Create favorite lists, tailoring collections of features and triggers customized for your daily needs
• Activate a hand health check to ensure your prosthesis is properly functioning (not available with i-limb select)
• View your muscle signals via a real-time graph
• Apply firmware updates as they become available

Requirements and Restrictions
• Patient Care Pathway login is required to activate my i-limb software
• my i-limb mobile application is compatible with i-limb ultra revolution, i-limb ultra, i-limb select, i-limb access, and i-limb digits devices.
• Some functionality currently in the desktop version of biosim is not available in the mobile version

Couldn't connect on multiple tries. I have galaxy s5 running 6.0.1. Find the whole ilimb experience quite unsatisfactory! Unfortunately, like the app, didn't find any use of this expensive prosthesis. A year later and still no luck using this app. Barely used ilimb as it's very slow and has poor grip force. Ended up getting a hook hand. Quite happy with it. Love doing biking, kayaking, shop work. With ILimb, I can't even reliably carry a jug of milk.

Touch Bionics, can the app be fixed? as many guys I don't carry a purse, so having to carry an ipod along with a cell phone is realy hard. I don't plan on getting an iphone either.

I'm sorry to say that, but I have one plus one, and I really don't get, why you would only support so few devices, I mean common the hands cost like 60k and you are not able to program an app for every device?!

The app tries to connect, then crashes. Every time. It does not, like, "work". It only stays on as long as it does not try to connect to the hand. When the hand is found in the device list and activated, the subsequent attempt to perform linking to the device crashes the app. Android 7, Huawei mate 9. That said, this app never was stable, even previously. It was rolled out to customers in early beta or even alpha version stages.
