About Housters, Property Management
Simple, easy, intuitive rental tracking for the next generation of mobile landlords and property managers. Keep track of your tenants, rent roll, expenses, and more. Everything is cloud-synced so your mobile devices and laptops all have access to your latest Housters data!
- Tenant Tracking:
Manage tenants and their lease terms. Track how much rent is owed by each tenant, when tenants are late on rent, and when lease agreements are ending.
- Accounting:
Manually add transactions for rent payments, bills, etc..., setup recurring transactions, or import your transactions automatically. Enable double-entry accounting mode and input all accounts affected in a transaction. Reconcile accounts against statements.
- Task Management:
Add to-do lists to track tasks you need to complete on your rentals, such as finding a tenant for a unit that will soon be vacant or fixing a leak in a roof. Assign tasks to vendors and invite them to login to Housters and view/update the tasks assigned to them.
- Financial Performance:
View key performance metrics for each of your properties, such as gross income, operating costs, net operating income, cash gain, and cash on cash invested.
- Alerts:
Alerts will be generated when tenants are late on rent, lease agreements are ending, task deadlines are approaching, and more. These alerts can be delivered to your email or you can just view them on the Housters dashboard.
- Documents:
Upload rental documents to Housters, such as lease agreements or 3 day notices, and then pull them up on your phone for quick and easy reference.
- Tenant Interaction:
Invite tenants to join Housters, which gives them the ability to view how much rent they owe, submit service/repair requests, contact you, and view their lease agreement.
- International Support:
Add properties for any country. Customize your date format, currency format, and financial year start date.

Use the app for free for 3 months to make sure it fits your needs and purposes. Contact us if we can add features to help you do business! After your trial, you can pay in-app for a monthly subscription to Housters. It's just $1 USD per unit per month, with a $5 USD minimum.

Tried all the other rental management apps and this one beat all of them easily. It has a very pleasant and easy to use interface. After a three month free trial trial they do charge a $1 per property monthly fee with a $5 minimum which is more than fair in my opinion. I can't recommend this app highly enough!

I own multiple properties and this app has been a huge help and personal assistant. The only thing is that the interface needs to integrate more with device/cloud calendar and a much simpler interface.

Thank you very much!! Oh please add in the sign date of the mortgage contract into the mortgages equation. Interest starts on the date not first payment

Why is it that your mobile website is better, friendlier, and easier to use and look at. It also seems to have some improved functions. If your app was exactly like the website, I'd give it a 4.5 if I could. Otherwise it is a decent product for a severely underdeveloped nitch market. Also if you could make the app less "blocky" it might look better and be easier on the eye.... like the website. BTW thank you very much for the auto-mortgage function

Great app, evaluated for 3 months before committing. Keeps me in touch with my rental portfolio with the press of a button. I now catch late payers the first day they are late, this alone saves me thousands p/a. Allows me to log operating / maintenance / advertising costs etc at time of purchase giving me a true profit picture. Great reporting to pdf & excel & the history report is invaluable when dealing with problems. I now just check statement on phone to see who has paid, input into houster in 10 min.

I love the syncing feature and being able to take photos of receipts. Its very easy to keep track of expenses on the fly. No need to save a million receipts.

Covers most of what I want to do. How can I export reports to pdf and/or excel? Decimal button doesn't seem to work on app when entering a transaction - only enters whole dollars. Works on Web page.

For the most part, it is a great tool to have. The accessibility on web/app works very well wherever you are. I would like to see it show which units are vacant and also have a vacancy rate.

2 major issues. 1. No partial rent, half now half later or weekly. 2. Security deposit has to be 1+$ otherwise won't let you save.
