About Total KCal
Ever wonder if the "2000 calories a day" baseline is actually the correct amount of calories for you? Total KCal determines optimal total calorie needs for an individual based upon the highly accurate and reliable Mifflin-St Jeor equation used by health professionals and registered dietitians in clinical settings worldwide. This equation takes into account activity level and weight goals to provide a personalized recommendation of adequate caloric intake in addition to a Macronutrient breakdown based upon the result.
Features:
-Calculates Total Energy Expenditure based on your gender, height, weight, age, and activity level.
-Tailors results to your specific weight goal.
-One of the only Calorie Calculators in the market that includes a Macronutrient breakdown in grams of carbohydrate, protein, and fat.
-Supports English and Metric units of measure.
Note:
Total KCal does not currently take advantage of the larger screen size on tablets. This application works fine on tablets but will not appear optimized for the device's larger screen. A tablet optimized layout will be included in the first update.
