UCedge is Toshiba Unified Communications client application that integrates all business users communications for Toshiba Strata CIX, IPedge, and VIPedge customers. UCedge provides users with contacts in the corporate, the Instant Message, Group Instant Message, Presence with the phone status. It also provides the Follow Me, the single number reach, capability, and the Mobility capability, extension dialing capability, from the cell phone. UCedge can also control the desktop phone or other softphone to make a call.
The application does not interfere with the ability to make a phone call or access the voice mail of the mobile device itself.

Call Quality is very good, the presence functionality with the ability to Instant Message others via their avatar is cool, and flexibility to use on WiFi or carrier network keeps me in touch wherever I am.
