Toshiba Smart Remote

Works perfectly well with my Toshiba smart tv. Tv was already connected to same Wi-Fi as my phone so picked up immediately. Navigating through the controls to get youtube wasn't as easy but it worked. Thanks

Finally, an app that actually works with my Toshiba TV. This is the real deal. It connect to the TV straight away and does exactly what it says on the tin. Would have rated 5 stars but the UI is not as user friendly as it could be. Thanks for a good app.

I have a Toshiba CT-8035 Smart TV and this app is very helpful. I had no problem connecting with my TV thanks to the WiFi. This remote fulfills basic functionalities with the ability to move up-down, volume control, channeling and switch off-on. However it would a large improvement, if I was able to type words on my keyboard rather than select letter by letter on TV screen with remite.

This remote works quite well. I installed it on my phone and a tablet. the buttons didn't resize very well on the tablet though. The layout is quirky and the tilted direction buttons and vol control seem to be designed to be awkward. The voice control (integral to the mobile device) works well (except the EPG function, i tried EPG, E.P.G and electronic program guide, all failed) I have also got a Panasonic TV its own android app has a voice control but it activates a voice recognition system on the TV itself which is terrible compared to this one. I have one major criticism of this app and its this, every designer assumes that only able bodied people will want to use the app so the useful voice control is buried behind 4-5 button presses. WHY NOT provide a sub program that can be launched from the phone or tablets main screen that goes straight to the voice control portion of the program. OR (i'm warming up now) provide the android equiv of a config file so users can best decide for themselves how the layout should be. Design it like a configurable launcher app,

Brilliant! Works without the need for IR. I like the UI and congrats to developers for finding the control codes. No more fighting over remote in this house ????

Does not show supported models. It just sits there, when it's opened, asking you to select a TV, with no options to select.

Opened up fine then continuously telling me to connect to a TV with no options to do so...Waste of time
