Connecting to ZANO
Connect your Android smart device to ZANO via ZANO’s onboard WiFi access point and open the FlyZANO App.

ZANO is equipped with a plethora of sensors to allow for the world's most intuitive nano drone flying experience. Absolutely no flight training is required to operate ZANO! All you need is your smart device, ZANO will do the rest. GPS, Sonar, infrareds, gyroscopes, accelerometers and barometric air pressure sensors all combine to give ZANO unparalleled flying intelligence. Giving you the freedom to capture fantastic aerial photos and videos without any flight training at all.
Through downward facing sonar and barometric air pressure sensors, ZANO's intelligent altitude control allows for a safe and smart one-button launch and landing.
Sense and avoid obstacles with ZANO’s revolutionary 5-axis infrared obstacle avoidance system.
Going for a run? Bike Ride? Or just want to capture some amazing aerial footage whilst on the move, without flying ZANO? No Problem! When outdoors, simply click “follow me” and ZANO will hold it’s distance and angle and “follow you" whilst capturing HD video!*
*Only available when GPS signal is available and in “Outdoor mode". Improved accuracy coming soon.

ZANO streams real-time video via WiFi back to your smart device for a fantastic FPV experience. On-board drone stabilisation allows for stable flight recording and FPV footage.

Dont bother down loading this app... They shut down their office's.. They stole the money from backers.. Over 3 mil from kickstarter and 12000 + people spent hard earned money for something they promised and said they had , now its all gone and they are over 3 mil richer. Thieves, cowards and the most dishonest group of people ive seen come out of kickstarter..

says my perfectly correct email is invalid. makes you wonder about developer skills when such trivial things go wrong. does not feel good. and now I read I have to wait another 4 month!! for my Zano. not happy is an understatement.

So I have an app that I can't use because the drone I paid for a year ago hasn't been built yet. And that's just the start of the problems! There's no guarantee that the drone will even fly once I get it, as seen by those that have received theirs. So until then, this app is 100% worthless - just like the entire Zano campaign. Spend your money elsewhere.

Looks like I'm suffering from a common problem - "Bad user name or password" when attempting to use the app, but no problems accessing the same account on the web site.

Managed to get it to connect to the zano once but now only ever says 'unfortunately, FlyZano has stopped'. Even reinstalling doesn't work. Useless.

if app crashs at start please read: I found if you have location turned on, on certain devices this crashes the app at start up. If you turn it off (settings>location>location off) then press home then start up the app, once your at the main menu switch back to location setting and turn it back on. Found this work around for my Nvidia shield tablet. Samsung s5 seems to work happily with the app

I am unable to comment on this app as I have a Zano, But have never been able to download the app. I have spoken with Torquing many times but have not ben able to resolve the issue. All I would ask is for people that can't use the app It says Zano has stopped working. To place your comment here so that we can see how many of us are out there. Thank You

If the app is crashing when loading like mine was you may want to try this. Before launching the app first turn off both the wifi and gps and then launch the app (it should now load) once the app has loaded (if it has) turn both the gps and wifi back on. Worth a try it works for me

I can't register (it says my email and phone are invalid ) - and the app won't install... beginning to regret my purchase. Never mind that I still don't have the drone. Makes you wonder what the product will be like when they can't put up a registration process that functions. Would be nice if Zano monitored this forum. Tried again a week later with same results. None. (Galaxy S5)
