Difficult to use on my tablet
Good
Unlike other similar sites not a horseless carriage. It is intended for the internet and thankfully is not just print design transferred to the screen. Fabulous.
I'm uninstalling this. It fails to open, probably because I choose to block access to my device's storage, which is not your business
Gets me what I need.
Great way to start the day with coffee and then breakfast.
Excellent news coverage. Easy to navigate.
Paper vs online? I love online!
Now I get news automatically downloaded for me when I wake up every morning. I can now read, watch a and read agian news in the mornings. Thank you Toronto Star... and I can now finally read my horoscope and do the crossword on my tablet.
I am shocked by the number of accidents in Toronto within four years. Something must be done about this . Citizens as well as drivers should be seriously fined or loose their driver's license for extended periods in cases of very serious accidents .
Crashes too frequently.
Easy to use, it's waiting there on my doorstep every morning and there is a good variety of articles that are updated daily.
Even has some of the better comics each day.
Part of my daily routine!
Excellent easy-to-use news source
GREAT well thought out news ap
I'd be in love except it forces me to use it in landscape mode. I hate reading anything lengthy in that orientation. It's just awkward
I have noticed a significant decline in the quality, diversity and engagement of content since launch. My main concerns are: More and more ads, especially full page ads, less content; less engaging content, missing the mark on utilizing the full potential of the app, such as more videos, gifs, infographics, maps, etc; missing content (where is the comics section?), no section for science/environment; many articles found in the paper (especially on health/food) are not in the app; decreasing depth and coverage of key issues, especially on environment and climate change...there are some consistent gems, like Hume, Mallick, Vrooman, Keenan, Cole and Hébert, but for the reasons above, I will put my reading on hold, focusing more time to The Guardian, Canadaland, AJ, NowThis and Vox, who provide modern coverage one would expect from the Star.
Platform is very user friendly
Wonderfully put together. The best local news app I've ever seen. More papers should follow in the state footsteps. I also appreciate the unobtrusive adds. They don't detract from the experience.
Like a stacked maze that lets you explore and reveal great news and commentary.
On time delivery. Appealing format which is easy to navigate. Informing and entertaining.
Easy to use. The better way to read the paper
I just wish it had MORE news stories. My only complaint. But I guess it is free, so...? What are you gonna do?
Well laid Out! Easy to Use! Great content! High quality writers! Other newspapers will start to copy it's layout!!
Fun to use, convenient format
A great way to read the Star. I love the ability to do the puzzles on line too.
Great current content ...
Finally, a high quality app to access a nationally read newspaper. I think the star did a tremendous job - hoping this sticks around! I still enjoy reading the paper but this is a great alternative from my favourite newspaper.
Informative, good daily read. Like the daily reminder.
It.
Great app... use it daily, but some pages are blurred & not clear
Read it every day since I found the Android version was out
Read it every day.
Great app!!!
Best
Easy to keep up with the world when I'm at the cottage No need to trek into town to buy the paper Has all the features of the paper version and is easy to red and find what interests me
Don't use it every day but it's handy for quick updates and the odd sudoku. Like the crossword as well.
Love the stories, especially the images. Good interactive pieces when I want to know more. Looks great

I love Star Touch. But until there's an option to limit the amount of data used by this app I can't have it on my tablet. While installed, the amount of data used by the app grew by 50-100 MB every day without ever decreasing. When I uninstalled Star Touch, I gained more than 2 GB of storage. Fix this app!
