The Old Reader (Unofficial)

The Old Reader and this unofficial app are the best of the many options I have looked at. They are simple, user friendly, and with all the features I need. No bloated nonsense anywhere either. Thank you very much developers, you are appreciated!

The design is beautiful and minimalistic, I just wished there was an option to "mark read" without entering each entry. Maybe a "select" button? Useful when you're reading a webcomic and haven't entered in a bit, that way you just leave "unread" for the last one you've read and tick the new ones "read" :)

Several problematic bugs mar this otherwise excellent reader. Screen rotation drags you back to the top of the page, and articles often crash after viewing several other apps.

Easy and obvious. It'll be perfect when I can remove articles from the headlines list, see hover text and links, and add/remove feeds. Very satisfying at "almost."

This is the best reader app I've tried. Nice and simple. One issue is that the read subscriptions are shown as unread until the app is closed and reopened again.

finally an RSS reader that doesn't need all the crazy permissions. Nice and simple. Keep up the good work. Fifth star would be for open-source license.

Would be five stars except I like to share stuff from RSS feeds and this app has no sharing functionality.

Better in some ways than web viewing as more topics can be seen at a time and any interesting ones followed up.

Does what it promises in a reasonably smooth way. Renders LaTeX in the reader, for most blog setups.

i love your app but in my phone (bq m5 lolipop ) the images do not resize ???? they are cropped in half

Almost there but needs a little more work, the read subscriptions aren't removed without closing and reopening the app. But it is nice to have a way of reading these feeds on the phone

Two days in a row, I marked a sub folder as read. But all the unread items in the other sub-folders went gone. This is very annoying.

Great app. Does its job, simple and effective. Now properly resizes images so I find no faults with it.

Can now read short messages from subscribers.

Simple et efficace

Simple... Maybe too simple

Very easy to use. No clutter and no ads. Link to view in browser. I actually prefer to read in app since it's so clean. Two suggestions, important ones= you should be able to add and remove subscriptions from within app, rather than logging in to your account on their site. Also, sometimes the back button on the phone goes back to the home screen when viewing an article, however they have a back button in the app which works. Thank you! Also, no unnecessary permissions! That's why I chose this one.

It would be nice if I could refresh directly from the "all items" page, and login using my Google+ authentication, but this basically gets the job done.

The old reader is an RSS saviour. Online, just had to wait a few years for an app.

Older unread items disappear at some point. Not cool!

App is great, minor display issues occasionally, but nothing major.
