Duplicate Media Remover

One of the best duplicate media remover. I tried so many others available on playstore. But narrowed in on this one.. It's fairly easy to configure. Nice graphical representation and made my phone so light. No wonder- why there are more than 1 million people using this. Shared with my uncles and aunts who are not so tech savvy and often complain about memory full memory full :) . Very Happy now.. Thanks to team

It's not perfect as before, I did scanning for the deblecated videos and images ,,,it's showed me I have deblecated items, then I deleted them your media remover, ,,but unfortunately not removed. I found that when I checked the storage galleries. So I decided to deleted them manually, to have enough space in my tablet Ram .please fix it as soon as possible to be the best application in google play store .

I would give it more if it wasn't for the adverts. The adverts are pop style so sometimes you click on the advert as you don't notice it's popped ... Maybe should be pooped up.. The app is good beware of the tons of adverts. ... Get rid of a adds be brilliant

It works better than the others I've tried, but it has extremely annoying and loud ads - and no option to turn them off either. So annoying. I will have to keep looking

It "removes" the same pictures everytime it detects duplicates. It doesn't actually remove them either. It's a waste of an app. Deleting it now, email me when it actually does something, I had great hopes for this app.

This is a useless piece of software that doesn't seem to find duplicates across SD and local memory.

Pathetic application..Good for NOTHING..Doesn't worth even FREE..Useless junk to occupy application space.. not able to find ANY DUPLICATE at all despite permissions on SD Card

The app require Permission to use Phone call to function. which is unnecessary and unrelated with finding duplicates files. Uninstaling.

was u could click on it 2 make it bigger so u can see it before you delete it and I wish that there was a cancel button or some way they would hold the pics or audio they deleted for a few days or something before it's completely deleted from your phone 2 make sure u don't change ur mind cuz I accidently deleted all the duplicates on my phone without being able 2 see what they were 1st and there was no way to undo it or to go back and look at them or anything. That's y I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Permission to manage phone calls no thanks. Can't be bothered with screen overlay setting either. Uninstalled.

Junk... app fails to delete duplicates even after multiple attempts but never fails to display full screen ads when clicking the delete option.

Updated Review 5th Feb. 2017 - Using it on a Folder/Directory that contains ~20,000 pictures to scan for duplicates, on my Google Pixel XL phone with 128 GB internal storage. About 105 minutes later (Android v7.1’s DOZE v2 may have suspended the process when phone was ‘screen-off/sleeping’) it found all duplicates. This isn't a rant, it's a rave! Because it didn't crash nor freeze by the volume of pics or ‘forced suspension’. Niggle to nag for the Dev: make a progress-bar/indicator HOW FAR ALONG the whole process is. Also: I wish for a paid version w/o Ads. For those who have issues with this app, it's a problem with your Manufacturers implemented version of Android. I used to have issues with my old Samsung Note with this app. Not anymore with the unadulterated Android version on my Pixel XL (as it's suppose to be)

App doesn't function as advertised. Won't recognize duplicate files and has trouble removing the ones selected.

It really works very well. Cleaned a lot of whatsapp junk as well as phone and storage media. Thank you. One of the best duplicate cleaner.

Selected all my pictures as duplicates. Just deleted everything from the phone.

It only scans and shows duplicate files,but when I clicked delete button, it can't delete these duplicate files, can anyone fix this?

I'm not sure why this app doesn't have a 5 star rating, but it should. It did exactly what it says, and it was lighting fast like it said. Good job you guys, finally a team that knows what they're doing when they build an app. Keep it up, and great job!

Can not find External Memory card If this can be done it is best app

It will scan an show me the duplicate files ,but when I press delete and check my gallery all the duplicate Images are still there >:-(

Other duplicate removers I have tried often mistake same file size for duplicates but not this one. Always on point

This found audio video and text files to remove. Once I deleted the video files it would not find the duplicate audio files so I could delete them even though I can see them in my music app and files manager

Don't waste ur time with this application. Its simply bad and not worth.

no possibility of selecting external storage (micro sd card) on galaxy S7 edge despite claims to contrary. requires a lot of permissions. I don't store stuff in internal memory so being able to clean internal memory only is useless to me.

I tested making duplicate pictures, scanned 4 times, all golder and just the duplicate folder. Never found. When doing all folders it kept saying 2 of my music videos were duplicates. ?. WRONG files were on my device memory not external chip

Seems to be working better now. App found 613 duplicated songs/tracks from my Media Library; stored on my 128 GB external memory SD card.

Showing some files as duplicate in one folder and I deleted all. If I researched it showing some files again. Than what is used

Maybe it's this STUPID Android 4/5 thing (they seriously need their bums kicked over that nonsense), but even if I ask to work on the external SD card, it only finds internal storage stuff.

Not being able to select MICROSD storage on Samsung phones is a deal breaker. Great software, but fix this glaring issue.

It doesn't delete the files selected as "duplicates". It scans the device, finds the duplicate images, I click "delete", it says it's deleted them, but the number of images on the device remains the same, and if I scan the device again, the same files show up as duplicates. Terrible.

Dont bother with ths one! I have tried this app for a few days and it deleted one file. The stats LIE saying over 140 files each time...the same files every time but they are still there until I delete them manully.

Besides, waiting for a long period of time, It found for duplicates for several times, but it never deleted them beacuse the amount of storage doesn't go lower, is still the same.

This is what I was searching from a long time, it was very frustrating deleting duplicate files from the memory before this, in few minutes it detects and delete those unwanted duplicate files from memory, loving it....

Needs some work and maybe an option to scan a folder along with others but not delete anything in it without having to go through and pick them out

I love this app its very efficient everyone I have used it, I have tried others and I liked it better than the gallery doctor I will continue to use this application its awesome thank you developers keep up the good work!
