Account

Please Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life
I spend more time before each ride getting this app to sync with my speed and cadence sensor. Plus it completely stops recording then makes up a random mile count if I happen to get a phone call while app is running. It told me I rode 67 miles in 38 min when really I had gone 7. Daily frustration!
Bluetooth link not stable, google map stop working, cann't erase history, app crash sometime during activity, no export file... Some else I give it 5 stars.
I see a lot of recent reviews about the app being unstable, and I've experienced none of that on my Samsung Galaxy S5. But being stable doesn't get you a 5 star rating. I can't export to Strava, or Google Fit. Not integrating with the ubiquitous cycling app or the OSes embedded fitness app is just gross negligence. That negligence could be forgiven if the app could export data to .tcx or .fit files, but the app can't do that. While the app is really stable while you run it solo, if you mix it with any other application that might want to be using bluetooth and/or GPS, it'll crash. That means no Panobike app + Strava/MapMyRide/Endomondo. So Topeak provides you a really basic app that doesn't integrate in any way with the systems it really needs to. If you just want a basic app to use with your Panobike sensors, it's OK for that.
App feels a little unstable, sometimes it takes 2 launches for it to load properly and for whatever reason the time will not reset to zero always starts at 01:00:00, anyone else had this issue and resolved it? However, aside from those issues I really enjoy using the app in conjunction with the speed /cadence sensor whether I'm on the road or in the garage on the turbo trainer.
Why on earth would you start recording at 1 hour, so the minute you start you've been riding 1 hour and 1 second, really!!! Cannot delete any history, app crashes leaving the history in place. And what on earth is the power zone for cadence, what should it be set at. Shame though as it really looks good when riding. Sort out those silly glitches and this would be great and well worthy of 5 stars.
Brought the cadence sensor just for this app. Don't bother. App will not run. Able to login. What a shame.
It doesn't have a real alarm, just a small visual que. I want an audio alarm. Also it's not the most stable. And it won't let you keep trip data, only upload it to a website like strava.
The displayed info when cycling is great apart from the fact that timer start at 1 hour on the clock. You cannot sync your ride info with strava either. Been advised to use different app. Wahoo
It's all fine and dandy but it keeps starting with 1 hour on the timer before I even start and it's messing my times up
Pauses and will not start after I start my ride
app sucks won't even connect with its own products.
Prone to crash. Has trouble remembering devices.
Unable to pair with TopPeak CSS or Polar H7 HRM.
Crashing on my Galaxy S6. :(
The timer starts on 1 hour. I have reinstalled but still the same. Other than that its fantastic
Isn't implemented the feature to upload on Strava
I installed Panobike on my Galaxy S3 a couple of years ago and it worked pretty well with the Topeak HRM and Cadence and Speed sensor. I recently upgraded to an S5 and Panobike simply does not work. The CSS is calibrated correctly and the HRM and CSS are properly detected. I even get speed and cadence readouts when the bike is on a service stand. In real life cycling, if I wait more than 15 - 30 seconds from the time I start the app until I ride, it stops reading mph, rpm and bpm. Useless!
This is a good app. The display is the best I know. Includes all the important information needed in one screen. The "unforgivable" cons are 2: Does not support gps speed. You must have a speed/cadence sensor No history available to analyze on web via PC.
General functionality is not work.
Rated half a star. Once installed, it froze while inputting my profile. This is a nice display info app which includes all the important information needed in one screen. But... What is unforgivable? -It has no history available to analyse on web via PC. -No sync to Google Drive -You must have a speed/cadence sensor. -Does not support rotation screen mode. And the #1 most important unforgivable point: -Does not support gps speed. Going back to using Google's My Tracks app which has what I need.
I downloaded this app to my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 after purchasing the Panobike speed and cadence sensor to which another app that I had been using would not connect. It works fine for roller training. But on the first road cycling trip it simply stopped and went to home screen eight times during a 18 mile ride without saving. So I have no record of the ride. 2015.06.08 - Continue to have issues with the app while riding on actual roads. It goes into a pause mode and never recovers.
Got the panobike cadence and speed sensor installed. Thought I'd give the app a go. But it crashes upon launch. I get to see the logo but not past that. Upon clearing the app data, it seems like it's crashing at the point when it tries to validate your login details. Pretty disappointing fthat this happens on the official panobike app when other 3rd party apps work without a hitch. Update: this app started working about a day later. Worked for 2 days and then the same issue reoccured. Sketchy at its best.
This app had been working well on my S5 with the Topeak speed and cadence sensor until today. Now it crashes upon startup every time. Rebooted phone, cleared cache etc. no luck. Hoping to not have to reinstall and lose all my ride data. Edit: So a day later and it seems to be working again. Assuming maybe a system app that it relies on updated and fixed it. I know at one point when Google Maps updated it was causing Panobike app to crash during my rides until the next G Maps update fixed it. If it stays working reliably I'd up my review to 4 stars. The display, as someone else mentioned, is better IMO than any of the other cycling apps I've tried. Since I have the speed/cadence sensor the lack of GPS speed is not an issue for me.
Looks quite nice, ui seems well thought through. Picked up the cadence /distance meter and a heart monitor. But where is the export, not asking for specific strava upload, just an app neutral exchange format. Sports are social nowdays, w/o integration this app is useless to me.
i used it before for checking my heart rate but i have no ideas why the app keep closing by itself recently, pls fix it!!!!!!!!!
Always loosing Bluetooth connection to my Galaxy S5, I'm at the point now where it won't connect to my CSC sensor at all now, so it is pretty much an obsolete piece of plastic on my rear stay. Also, it always starts with an hour on the trip time. Good potential with the app, but needs these issues addressing desperately! After trying the Cat Eye app, I'm going to remove this one, the Cat Eye app connects to my Topeak CSC no problem for speed and cadence. Works every time flawlessly and autoconnects too!!!
Installed this app and loved it, use it pretty much every day except for today as it now crashes on my Samsung S4
Sony Xperia z3. App opens them closes. Waste of money
A lot of bug for this app. Why untill now still not avariable new version for up to date
Solid device for the price ..... Bug??. Unable to delete history in lollipop, it either hang or log off, pls fix this
Doesn't work at all. Stuck in a menu screen and cannot do anything even though I can select stuff. Note4 lollipop.
Really enjoying this app so far. The only issue I've noticed is that the app crashes when I try to delete any history.
I like the app but why the app always start with 01:00:00 on Samsung note 4
Does not work on moto g crashes on start up.
Perfect for my cross country mountain bike
When I try to start the app it crashes immediately. Both on nexus 9 and Samsung S4
App hang at main menu. Using samsung galaxy note 3. After login, tutorial then hang.
Topeak is known for high quality hardware. It seems software is not their core competence. This app is full of bugs and not ready for market.
May I know why the app before start time always shows 23:30:00 ( Android phone ) instead of 0:00:00 ( Iphone IOS ) ? ( tested in 3 android phone ) I believe this is android bug and should fix ASAP. anyone else has the same issue ? The developer should consider the export record or Link & upload to the other app function.
