Best Display Brightness Level for Android
Very easy to switch from auto brightness to any set level of brightness; very useful when looking at pictures. I also like the fact that you can set a minimum brightness below which auto won't go. Also very low impact on system and battery. I'm using this on a Samsung Note 2.
It's soon useful. My mobile has a low brightness even when we keep it full. And when I use this its 100 %better.thank u for creating this app. And it's just 58kb can be downloaded in seconds. So useful. Thank you
This app allowed me to turn off auto brightness which my tablet settings wouldn't let me do and had just kept me on full brightness. Perfect
It stopped working, just like the other ones I tried.
This is a great app to customize the display brightness. 100% Free ... and AD Free!! What's not to like?! Thank You Dev!!!
Wanted an app for outside use and inside brightness now I can edit this to how I want, widgets may be a cool thing to add in the future
Good work tq
Not satisfied. The brightness is still high on LOW level.
53% indoor, 93% outdoor - best compromise between battery life and eyes health !
Suggestion: allow the user to rearrange the defined levels, in order to allow the insertion of intermediate levels.
Good work tq
It works, what more do you need.
Works better than my old app, as I can create custom presets and edit the names, too, on my Z Ultra. However the icon has too much text underneath therefore it is not displayed. Also, icon looks misaligned and out of place on the screen. I may remove later because of this. Please remove the icon text!! Not needed! UPDATE: i've moved on to Cobrets dimmer app. Slick, better interface, better icon, and adjustable filters and presets.
Actually adjusts brightness, not a filter. My stock ROM has some issues with the brightness and this app solved them. This app also goes dimmer than my phone ever went before (by about 6%).
No ads which is great. Simply to use. Tunable to match all phones. If the app slider is not in sync with the android brightness slider, use the presets. In the app, there is a brightness percentage number above the slider...that is the current brightness number. Use that to tune your presets. 50% on android brightness slider might not be 50% in the app.
Finally, I can see I have the settings at max brightness and still couldn't see. This boosted it way up, trying to read outside when it's doing that drives me nuts. No I don't have power save on; dropped the phone last month so the settings are a little wacko now.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this app seems to have added an auto-dim function to the normal brightness slider that persists even when the app is uninstalled. Not good, now I cannot figure out how to get it back to normal. (system: KitKat 4.4.4)
Create custom pre-sets and see how they look as you create them. I made levels at 10% increments from 30% to Full. Every level still appears at once on the Note—no scrolling to see them all—yet the range gives me all the nuance I need. This app also comes with an 'automatic' option for users who prefer that. Clean, simple interface with no adverts. Glad to have this. This is a keeper.
Upgraded my tablet to lollipop and brightness was stuck to maximum. Used it and works like a charm.
Don't try. Doesn't work
This app is most beautiful i like it...
Its an awesome app for my huawie y530
Works as advertised and does not require any additional permissions.

This is by far the best brightness app ever thank you very much
Does what it's supposed to.
I love it . its great
Good
best,five *****
I soo needed this app my auto brightness was on and I didn't know how to change it this saved my life thx
This is the fifth screen dimmer I've tried and the best. Some had too many fiddly features: this one lets you programme in 4 or 5 levels and then just gets on with it. And that's all you want from a widget.
Doesn't do anything system brightness control doesn't do.
Light and good....no privacy concerns

This app has worked perfectly since I began using it.
Amazing with its customizable preset brightness settings this is the smartest app
That's it!!!
The minimum brightness is still too bright
It works when you tap the widget but the widget doesn't change, i.e the little indicator bar stays the same. So this has either been made in a lazy way or its not fully working for lollipop on shield tablet.

Just installed a new extended battery and the screen dimmer disappeared when the battery icon went to 5%. Eventually system will recalibrate, but until then... This ap has no permission requirements (thank you) and immediately brightened my screen to full 100% easily and with complete intuitive control (thank you again). I also happen to think the icon looks great! We'll done. 5 stars.
