TomTom MySports for Android
I find it odd that for a device that primarily tracks steps (?!?), that the app does not have an activity for walking?!? Freestyling .. ?!? The above was written on the 26th of Dec 16 and since then, I haven't been able to edit or view an activity. The app is in dire need of a bug fix. My fiancé has a better app interface with her fitbit and I'm seriously considering trying another brands activity tracker .. !!! Have been waiting the eagerly anticipated app update, hoping that we'd be able to amend activities, see our progress and generally interact, but alas, it was not to be. I won't see out the year with this device and won't be returning to it the foreseeable future .. !!!
It's ok but please fix the map view so you can turn it landscape and then it will fit on the screen for screenshots. It is a pity that when you share your run you cannot share your map without a ridiculously complicated route of saving it in your gallery first. Other than that it's pretty good. PLEASE, PLEASE FIX THE MAP VIEW SO IT CAN BE TURNED LANDSCAPE AND THE ZOOM IN AND OUT ARE IN SMALLER INCREMENTS!!!! It's a pretty good app otherwise.
My new phone (Samsung s7) wanted to upgrade the app which had previously worked. The upgrade has meant that I can no longer sync my phone to the app rendering it useless. Pretty much like the 9 month old Tomtom multisports watch which is loosing accuracy and mileage in significant proportions. Might just cut my losses with TomTom and move to Garmin.
Very unstable, takes ages to sync with the watch as it loses connection al the time. Keeps giving the same suggestions despite clicking "got it". And lacks crucial info like time for each section you run. Clearly needs an update. The watch is nice (although has a hard time getting gps when cloudy) the app is rubbish. And why do I need to switch on the GPS on my phone to sync with the watch. That doesn't make sense.
I've filled the application forms in for this app 10 times now trying different ways but every time the app fails and asks me if I wanna send a report. I've sent reports but I have heard nothing. Avoid this app if you want to keep your heart rate low......
It is getting better. It finally syncs with greater reliability. I have been using this app for over a year and started having difficulty with the sync function. It looks like they fixed it and therefore my rating went to 4. Hopefully they keep making improvements and push this app father and farther.
Personally I couldn't be more happier with this app,( comparing with others! And I've tried a few)... That being said the day I've decided to buy quality sports watch I've made the best choice of my life and this year for the first time I went for the TomTom Adventurer and it is the best watch I've ever had in the last 7 years of working out, since day one everything worked together making a very easy pleasant transaction between the watch and the app and never had any problems( having a Sony Z1 compact as a phone), so to be honest I don't really know why people are complaining,....I have an advice for everyone, nothing out there compares with TomTom watch and App. I tipp my hat to the TomTom team and.. 5 STARS from me because it's well deserved. please keep up the good work.
The ap is working more frequently now! Even if I don't have my device connected I am still able to view activities as it should be. Using Huawei P8. Found a way to see activities that don't update: Go to progress and keep on clicking the date on the graph.
I had NO issues with the old app. Transfered my stats to new app...ran today and the watch will not give up its data. Synced and paired but it just sits there. "woken" it up even shouted at it and ignored it. Please what am I doing wrong. Would go back to the old version of the app if I could
Well before update it was fab. Now update has been done. Well I've uninstalled. Removed synced watch. Added watch. As now when I updated my evening Run. Guess what it doesn't show up at all. Says it's up to date but it hasn't show my imported run. Very very annoyed. Why why change something that was working. Now it's pretty pointless having the tomtom runner. I can't monitor anything. So annoyed.
Worst app ever. I have an LG3 and it is so hard to connect and sync, it is ridiculous. I would give this app a 0 If I could. I have to disconnect and resync every single time I want to use it. But, not only is that a problem, it NEVER finds my phone until at least 8-10 'pair new phone' syncs. I HATE this app.
App is working fine now and always pairs with my watch and syncs. It took a long time to finally get to this level of stability. I am very hesitant to upgrade to the new mysports app as this latest version is finally working for me! I plan to hold off until I'm forced to upgrade....
I'm getting really frustrated with the app not syncing to my phone. Sometimes it does but mostly doesn't, even worse with the app update. Please get it sorted. I have a Samsung galaxy j3
Rubbish app and rubbish watch. Between them both they simply will not sync in a single smooth attempt like. Be prepared to waste time constantly re pairing and turning sync on and off. Poor
After problems connecting to my watch, I have completed a factory reset, uninstalled and reinstalled this app. The watch does not connect to my Moto G4, and none of the suggested fixes work. This app is merely wasting my time.
I have a real problem to pair the watch and keep it paired to my Samsung. I have updated and deleted amd reloaded and no luck. No issue with IPad.
Absolutely garbage. Tried it with my Samsung wouldn't synch. Reading the review it appears most users are unhappy but according to Tom Tom support all are wrong except them. New update installed still crap!
Keep on getting blank screens and App is slow. It's only good for downloading then you have to view data from website. Very disappointed tomtom could do much better.
Why do I always have to pair my watch to this app for it to sync , can your team please sort it out ,this problem has been mentioned in other reviews and it seems like it still has not been sorted out yet, it is making you product look redundant. Please find a solution to this problem quickly.
work well to my nexus 6P, after upgrading an issue with syncing to the watch has gone. Need to upgrade watch as well to make it completely works
How a multi multi million dollar company that prides itself on having great products and also using the latest technology Can even let this app be used in conjunction with products has got me f#$ked!! Constantly crashers Half freezes , fully freezes And is so basic and *un* technical it looks as though a 5yo has built the app In this day and age the app must match the product No point in having a great sports watch if you don't have the app to match it right !!
I often (daily) have to re-pair my Galaxy S5 phone and Tom Tom Runner 2 Cardio GPS. I never had problems with my Fitbit... UPDATE: clearly a _lot_ of work has been done on this app and now it behaves much, much better; now I enjoy using it! +1 to the developers for sorting it out. Can the run summary show recovery heart rate as well as average, please?
This app has come along in leaps and bounds over the past year. Really loving the reliably now (version 1.3.255) the features and feedback the app gives you. So thanks tomtom. Only feedback I can give you tomtom, is watch doesn't register heart rate very well whilst stationary rowing. Not sure why? I've tried gym and treadmill setting, but only records a resting heart rate. If this improves, 5 stars will be given
I have to pair my watch with the app every time I try and sync. Even then half way through I have to do it all over again. Only consistent sync I can do now is by plugging the watch into a computer.
Had some issues a few months ago (with a different phone with marshmallow as well) but now with a LG V10 everything seems to work as it should. However after the initial connection setup Bluetooth connection between the watch and phone is rather sluggish and transfer rates too slow (4* instead of original 5). Furthermore the connection is lost all the time (1*)

This app used to be amazing! The latest update also looks great however I have not been able to use it as my watch isn't syncing anymore which makes it nearly pointless :(
Gernerally good. Useful and working blutooth connectivity to the watch. The fuctionality from there isnt as good as the pc version. You cannot edit the activity for example.
Really disappointed with the app as I constantly face this issue in viewing my stats in detail after synching. It just shows me blank screen when click on any activity all the time.
Issue with synchronization. Normally was the issue solved for a while but recently the issue is back. I'm using TomTom for almost a year and the issue appears time to time. I installed the new app but with the new app is even worser. I hope you will do anything for that.
Can't sync golf watch with Samsung s7 or laptop. It's just lost my score for today, laptop and mobile do not recognise it as a golf watch. What a waste of time.
The all is better, but it still has bugs, when I want to check the stats of my run I cannot scroll. I can only hope you improve it eventually. Competitors like polar and fitbit are miles in front of you when comparing apps.
So now this bullsh*t doesn't allow me to sync my Spark 3 but instead it makes me open the"new" and "improved" app that actually is not working because it deleted my watch and now I cannot add it back!!! Fix these things now, or you will lose a customer. I regret to buy a TomTom device, software really sucks.
This isnt letting me connect my Bluetooth tried everything still not finding connection. So annoying help pls
Not as good as IOS version, seems to lack some of the features of that version, for example when sharing your work out of a gym session it won't display bpm or anything else other than time spent.
Do not buy a TOM TOM Spark 3. App and watch sync suck. Save yourself hours of regret and go buy a Garmin. Highly regret this purchase...
Whenever I try to connect to this app it allows me to put the pin in and then says "sorry we have been disconnected" dreadful app!!!
Sync works just if GPS is turned on. It's unbelievable

I have been using this watch for over a year and have periodically tried to use this app, but with no luck getting synced. I tried again today, and it finally worked! Hopefully it stays consistent. If it does then my rating goes up! Update: I have successfully synced the watch up 4 out of 4 times! My star rating went up to 4! Update 2/12/17: I am always able to sync my watch up to my phone. It has been very consistent each time I log into it.
