This app keeps using connection overnight eventhough Wifi, Bluetooth and GPS were all turned off. As the result, it drained extra battery while not being used. I can't really find a solution for this issue unless I uninstall this app. However, this app is required to get traffic data for the TomTom GPS device. It would be great if the developer can resolve this issue.

it is a good app, would love to give it 5 stars, but, i cant justify that. they need to make the app close once the tomtom device is not connected. no one needs it running all the time draining their battery. until then, its off my device until i can find a work around or they fix it.

The app had to do so little, and it fails at it. It is always running, with notification on. Cannot stop it. Drains the battery. Heavy battery drainner. Will not let you get traffic without creating a account. Has no respect to user privacy. Needs access to unrelated items. Cannot paste a address .

This app lacks few features. It does not provide any suggestion routes. It only shows one. It also does not allow you if you want skip toll roads or not. They need add these features just because you are only using this with your actual gps. Plus if I want use my cell data for my gps I can use my phone, why would spend money to buy gps. They also need to change in app whether the route has toll or ferry like in the actual gps.

It keeps losing connection to my TomTom Go 500. I want live traffic and without connectivity I don't have it. UPDATE: I just realized that in order for this to work properly I have to turn off the Bluetooth in my car. Now I don't have Hands free connectivity.

Battery hog!!! Uses 33% of the battery per charge even though it is connected to my TomTom less than 1 hour out of 48 hours. Android System (next highest battery usage) only uses 19% in the same time.

All of the sudden, it says I have no internet connection. Does not work with Android O Beta.

First off when I send a route from my Android, Tomtom should not be CHANGING the route. Point to point planning only to stay on a route otherwise it sends you to hell!

I can't sign in. I get a message that I have no internet connection. This is the only app that cannot connect to the internet. TomTom sucks!!!

Maps on app don't show streets that are on the GPS. Update them both

What a easy navigation app

I work as a delivery driver, and bought a TomTom GPS so I could plan my route before getting into the car. Unfortunately I had to bring my computer and use My Drive on the web, as the app only allowed you to send a single stop beforehand. The last update allows you to plan your route with multiple stops. Perfect!

This app worked for me like a charm before this update... Still don't understand how my 10 yr old tomtom has traffic through the car charger and this dumb new one needs my phone connected through Bluetooth. Works now but now always wants to connect and shows in my notifications at all times. What the hell...

I can't comment on what this app has cuz the dang thing never worked! I'm in the U.S. I put in a U.S. address, but I only got destinations in London or the UK. WTF? I'm so tiffed! What a waste of my already too limited time!

TomTom has gone in the toilet by needing to be connected to a cellphone. It was better when it connected straight to the satellite. If they need to us your cellphone, then they should stop making their GPS'.

Have a 10 inch tablet and use it in landscape mode so it doesn't flip over while driving and this app only works in portrait mode. No auto rotate!!!

Unless connected, always has a notification saying "Connect your TomTom device." Can't be dismissed.

Cannot exit the app when not using it/not connected to the device.

I have problems when you want to copy an address does not give you the option and the keyboard disappears i Uninstall it and still not working you need to fix their app

What happend to the paste function? Please get this function back.

Why can I no longer turn the app off?? I used to be abke to go into the settings and stop the app from running, but with this latest update now I can't. This is a real battery killer and I don't want it running all the time. And I can't turn off my bluetooth to stop because it just starts again when I turn it on for the speakers, or my headset, or my watch, etc. Why must you change the functional settings?

Often takes time to sync with app on cold start in mornings. Takes as much as 10 mins or sometimes does not sync at all. Once it syncs, there is no disruption. Traffic info is accurate. Send to Destination and Remove from Places menus are too close! Nice interface. Intuitive.

Cannot fully close app after launching. Notification icon never goes away unless app is "force closed." This needs to be resolved.

This would get five. If you could update through app. Why have to go through a home P.c. when you live in your truck. I live in my truck an use a smartphone or tablet none of which will help me download. Now I must go get a p.c. an all ill have is wifi an you all say that's not the most effective way to download

Tried to use for first time after downloading and keyed in my email address and as it had been done time since using the Tom Tom update service, I didn't remember my password, clicked on appropriate link and it promptly take me to the "I'm sorry that page doesn't exist page"!!! Abs so ends the first time use WTF????????

OR the SMS programs? SUPPOSED to be a link for traffic info! are you going to try and get pictures of traffic from me now? over the last few months I have begun to REGRET buying a Tom Tom. I NEED gps for my work and seriously considering finding a different brand. between software crashes lockups ROUTE RESETS,, etc I've about come to my limits

I installed this to use for traffic updates with my tomtom while driving. It worked great. I have one complaint though - why is the app still continue to run even while not driving? There should be at least an Exit option in the menu to shut the app down from running in the background.

Very useful app. Nice to load trips before you get in to ride. Less fumble time with device

Always crash on the Nexus P nougat cannot use it at all just keeps crashing please please fix that I needed for work come on

I am running the new Android N on Nexus 5x. It keeps crashing and losing connection. They better fix it since that will be rolling out soon

But _can't stand_ how the notification icon does not go away, even after closed the app and not using it. Annoying! This needs to be fixed! I shouldn't have to "force close" this app to get rid of the (useless) icon that sticks around when I'm done with it.

As soon as it tries to connect to my Nexus 6 it crashes. I am running Android N so it's likely why but please fix it!

Must use very useful for getting were u want to go....
