TomTom MyDrive

A really good tool for those who travel often. It gives you the option of 3 different routes to your destination so if you know from personal experience that one part of the route is a problem you can pick an alternative. And if you use this in conjunction with the real time traffic updates on your device this saves even more time when travelling. Better than online route planners.

Useless. Very slow, glitchy, takes minutes to respond to any touch interaction. Uninstalling. P. S, Im running a Samsung s6 on latest droid ui. Also, I only installed this app today so should be latest Tomtom app. Pairs OK with my sat nav though. Also, it kills my battery even when it isn't being used? Not worth the hassle guys.

The app works very well for planning a route and sending it to my go 520 and the live traffic is excellent. My issue with it is it is always running even when not needed, and is a large drain on my battery. I have removed all permissions and force stopped the app, but the next day it's back again, draining the battery​ again and I have to force stop it again. I see no reason for this app to constantly run in the background unless connected to the satnav. Please sort it out.

Be really nice if the connection between my phone an my Tom Tom VIA 62 actually worked reliably. I seem to have to spend quite a bit of time getting the two to connect each time I want to use them. Very dissapointing.

Trying to plan a route and it freezes ,lags and shuts down. Tried 2 different phones one a Pixel on Nougat and the other a Huawei Mate 9 also on Nougat. Using 5200 sat nav

When I first started using Mydrive functionality was limited and results were poor. Over recent months things have improved markedly. It is pretty darn good now. So thank you to the developers!

The fact that I can't plan my route & then send it to my Rider 410 as I can with the mobile version means this is useless. Sending the destination to my device is pointless & can hardly be considered route planning.

Not sure what use this is. You don't seem to be able to send a planned route to your sat nav, just destination and your sat have then replans the route??? Also there are no options to set units (kilometres Vs miles) and distances in Ireland come up in miles which is strange since the country is 100% metric.

It's a good job their Sat-navs arn't as bad as their app! Just keeps freezing and crashing. UPDATE: After disabling the camera and messaging permissions the app seems to work a lot better and smother.

When I attempt to scan the QR code on my 6200 pro to my phone it says "an error has occurred, please try again later" and I have limited connectivity between my phone and my TomTom. Otherwise good app.

I would like this app very much if it didn't constantly tell me to connect my Tomtom. I want to be able to turn it off completely when I am not using. I don't want it hanging about leaving messages in my notification bar. Sort that out and it will get a lot more stars.

It has recently stopped sending my routes to my TomTom Go 5200. This happened after the last update to the TomTom. Hoped this update to my drive would sort it.

This app drains the battery, even when TomTom device is not connected. 2 hours of "mobile radio active" caused by this app, and TomTom device wasn't connected any any point.

Says no device connected even though it is connected, and does not always work when sending route to the tomtom go 5200, I need to turn the device off and on and it works sometimes

Good app if you know where you want to go but if like me you like to view places to visit along your route then this app is useless as the place names are really small and stay small even when you zoom in.

Can't use this app over WiFi. It requires 3G or 4G. I wanted to add destinations o mobile and sync to Tom Tom device but I can't do that over WiFi. Useless for my case.

The app doesn't allow me to see the 'send route to device' option by scrolling it down into view on the screen. If I could see that menu when I press the three dot button, it would make the app really useful.

Pretty good but not working correctly with my Nexus 6P android 7.1.2. I have to keep reinstalling app and repairing bluetooth.

Great for planning a route and sending it to my Tom Tom navigation which is set up on my 7 inch Android tablet. Not sure how often maps are updated as this app has not been updated the same as the navigation app. In particular Auckland, New Zealand.

Since i updated this app it won't work get your act together tomtom

Doesn't seem to know UK postcodes. Not easy to use and won't always send to device. In other words not much use at all. Might as well use google.

I cannot sinc my mobile data to connect to, go 520 to get data and traffic it's says phone connected

Whenever I try to login it keeps stating to check networks. Not been able to use in a long time.

The app won't let me send an itinary to my device, very frustrating, tried everything going to uninstall

It is a good app and very useful, but I would like the ability to change the units from mi to km.

After some glitchey starts two re installations later its finally working as it should be.

Would be cool, if one could get rid of the "Connect your TomRom device" notification. And also the traffic and safety camera service is not working. It always displays "Expiration date unavailable". My devices: Motorola Nexus 6 and TomTom GO 620 Update: Ok. Now safety camera and traffic info works fine. Maybe it just took it a little to update. Still: It would be nice if one could deactivate the permanent notification.

A long time Tomtom user and enjoyed seeing the improvements over the years. Like being able to manage places and plan routes and send to the device. Have several friends with 'posh' cars but still use tomtom as they consider it better! Traffic management is great. Still has the odd silly moment when device won't start properly, despite that still 5 stars
