The map code web site shows you a park bench with a map code location, but there's no way you could use the mobile app to zoom to such a location, the base map is just not detailed enough. Compare this to the similar concept what3words app.

I am very interested in map codes as alternatives to coordinates. It will be good if Satellite maps are available too. They will make it easy to find specific locations.

Mapcode is easier than lat/long but as has been said before, Satellite overlay would be far better to have as positioning then becomes totally accurate.

Good, but lacking any kind of "share" functionality as far as I can see. As in the ability to share your location via message/sms. What3words is far superior in this regard.

Map code is great but when I try and use the Launch button it opens my current location in Google maps rather than the map code location.
