I've been using this app for many years and it's been great but recently after an update it signed me up to a $10/month SMS service WITHOUT ASKING ME. I sent STOP but it has already charged my phone account the $10. Instant uninstall.. not impressed.

Updates stopped. Widget doesn't open when tapped. Tried to reinstall, and now when I select a widget, no widget appears in place on screen. 23/03/2017 Reinstalled it, on my HTC after an update, and everything was working well, for the last 8 months. Yesterday the App stopped updating. NO information at all. No temp, current or forecast info. Tried to refresh, and informed unable to update as no auto-location available. Strange since I had set it to use a specific city, Adelaide. Went in and selected Adelaide again, did a refresh and it went back to using auto-location. What The ... ! Funny thing is, I have this app on my Samsung tablet, and it's working fine. This is annoying, as this app is one of the few with a 4x1 widget that is easy to read and well laid out. Tried reinstall, to no avail. I select the 4x1 widget, and despite it asking for set up data, nothing appears on my home screen.

I'd pay for a premium app if it included a clock. The HTC digital clock has weather but its not BOM sourced and inaccurate. Only thing missing.

Keeps crashing every time I use it. Used to be great now takes 2 goes to get it to open

Descriptions for Hobart are incorrect. Graphic and title says sunny, but the description says 90% chance of rain. I checked BOM - the description is for the current day, but shows on the following day's forecast.

S70%
by S####:

Great weather app sourced from Bom. But can you increase the font size on the 4x1 widgets 3 day forecast part as my eyes aren't what they used to be. It's way to small. Otherwise it's fantastic.

Very difficult to change the colors on the widget.(ok it's easy) but what if you want them all the same color

H70%
by H####:

Works well but not sure why it calls home to the devs website or why the website mimics a microsoft page

This app puts an icon in your notification area, that you have no way to turn off. It tells you the weather in the location closest to you, which it determines by GPS. if you have GPS turned off while not using it to save battery, it tells you the weather on coconut island. There is no way to turn this feature off, or change the default station. If I wanted to deal with bs like that, I'd buy an iPhone.

Was a very good app had it for over a year however widget on main screen won't update anymore and you can't access app if you click on it

Comprehensive info, but can't get radar to open for any location. That's a major pain.

K70%

Radar would not work on 5.0.2. Developer advised to update Google Android System Webview. All is now perfect.

This app used to be great. However over the last week it no longer updates. Reinstalled and still no updates. Disappointed.

N70%
by N####:

Appreciate the development of this app to provide proper Australian weather forecasts. Impressed it integrates with android wear. It would be nice to have predicted rainfall amounts too.

I used to like it but the pop up ads have become so intrusive and unavoidable. I accidently hit one and Telstra instantly charged me $15 for a "third party" service. It then took days to get it fixed up. I have uninstalled. My advice: Don't use this app.

One feature I would love is the ability to have the temperature on the status bar without having the widget. Can this please be added?

A70%
by A####:

This app is not synchronised with the BOM website- I get different temperature readings from BOM, even after 10+ mins. Also I'd like to see the precise temperature in the widget, to 1 decimal point.

why does the latest update need access to my photos?

S70%

32% of my battery drain was caused by this app. It is a great app but I can't use my phone with code this bad. Deleting.

What da!!!!! Where the hell and what the hell does Coconut Island have to do with Sydney Western Suburbs? Turned on GPS just in case it needed to be on to get the location right. But nope, it insisted on a place somewhere in the middle of an ocean far far away. Errrrr, UNINSTALL!!!!!

Love this app, concise, accurate BOM info. User friendly layout. No noticeable battery drain. One of the first apps installed on my new phone. Recommend to anyone in Australia.

Nice app, have used it for a few years now. I even like the new version. There's one little problem, though, and I think you know what it is. Please make the Coconut Island temperature on the top bar go away! And let it show my station instead!!

S70%

Have used on phone and tablet for a few years. Is a great app with all the information I require straight from Bureau of meteorology. Accurate, quick, subtle yet neat widgets and better off all free. The latest major update is a real winner and has progressed this well performing app into a must have one.
