Missed Message Flasher Free

This app has worked for me faithfully on various phones for years, yet I can't seem to get it working correctly on Android 7 (Nougat). It concerns me that this app hasn't been updated since 2015... maybe something significant changed in Nougat.

Not a bad little app. The user interface could use some help, but it does what it's supposed to. Best part is no pop-up adds like a couple of others I tried.

Nice app...fixes what's missing from my phone. However...it seems that is does NOT work when the phone is plugged into the charger. Not a fatal flaw, since, for me, that's either overnight or when I'm sitting at my desk, on the phone.

Doesn't cancel the alert if you reply to a text using the drop-down text notification. You have to go into messages and open the message manually to clear the reminder alarm. I couldn't understand the alert timing options under "Edit timings and limits". I decided to uninstall, which I did, cleared my cache, rebooted the phone... the app is gone but the alerts are still being received when I get new texts!!! If you want to UNINSTALL, change all settings to off, silent, etc, first.

No longer working on S8+, no matter settings. Worked on all previous Samsung S models.

Well just what I wanted and when tested worked great but in real time the screen does not light but the notification tone sounds??

Well, once I figured out all the settings, this actually works really well. My phone (marshmallow) always sounds alerts and rings with increasing volume, and I always miss messages because the alert sound is so low. Now, this app plays a notification sound loud enough, and at the interval I program it to. Once I unlock the screen to read the message, the notifications stop automatically. Cool...

I hate to miss a call or text. Now I don't. I have the timers set so it reminds me a bunch right away, but then very little, so I can still ignore a call or text if I am in a meeting.

It would be WONDERFUL if the reminders could stop when the notification is removed. For example, if I check a Hangouts message on my computer, my phone is smart enough to remove the notification, but MMF isn't smart enough to stop reminding me.

I have spent two days messing with this app. I have been a loyal and happy user for years. I installed it on my new phone and it does nothing. Nothing at all. Won't work. I enabled notifications. I allowed access. I know how to use this app after all these years. Don't know what has happened.

Missed Message Flasher is a tiny reminder that has all the feature I need. It worked for me perfectly on 4.1. After I change do 4.2 I could not get it to work anymore. But: Why Android does not have reminders is completely beyond me. Peter Kroll, Singapore

Tried this on my droid turbo but doesn't work for missed calls sent an email for help setting up no response

Me permite saber si tengo mensajes sin leer, limitada si necesitas notificaciones desde otras apps, pues hay que pagar. Funciona bien con el whatsapp. -Edito desde que le instale Lollipop ya no suenan las advertencias de mensajes perdidos. La aplicacion ya esta actalizada y sigue igual. dejo dos estrellas hasta que se solucione.

works great on my HTC One. I like using my default messenger but it lacks the ability to turn the screen on when i get a message, this app took care of that problem for me.

Worked great for years, but stopped after AT&T'S last Android update rollout. Maybe a fix is on the horizon?

Galaxy S4 Mini - Sometimes, not all the time, while this app is enabled my screen will not turn off from inactivity which I have set to 15 seconds. When I disable this app my screen will turn off the normal 15 seconds I have set.

Not sure if this is a bug with Android 4.0, but whenever I have this app enabled in Accessibility, it also enables "Explore by Touch" (even though I have the toggle for that feature unchecked). So, my phone talks to me for just about everything I touch. I'd love this app otherwise, but I can't stand my phone talking to me.

Very good! What type of coverage would the pay version offer for Instagram? Notify on likes, posts? What?

I don't want it to turn on the screen nor cause an audible alert. Wish it would flash the LED's like other alerts.

I really love being able to customize and add different reminders for what ever I want, its fantastic. I'm taking off a star because the app frequently will still remind me that I got a text message even after checking the message, this occurred on my HTC G2, M7, and currently on my M8. Across multiple versions of android making me believe that it is a global issue. Please fix that and I will change it to 5 stars. Thank you!

My phone doesn't have a notification light so this is wonderful. I love the versatility of the settings!
