doesn't seem to work on android 5.0. it says functions to turn mobile data on and off aren't available... but it does do one interesting (but completely useless, AFAICT) thing: if I'm connected to wifi, it makes my mobile data connection connect as well, so both are active at the same time.

I want to thank the developer for their efforts. However, after years of using this app I longed for a visualization (icon does not change) when my data state changes. I now have switched (no pun intended) to "Data OnOff". It also works great, has a visual cue when data state changes and is free.

One click on the shortcut is all it takes to toggle the data, making this very convenient to use. Moreover, it really does clean up after itself, resulting in no wasted resources, just as the description states. A must have if your system doesn't have this functionality built in.

Does not turn off data (3g, etc). Each time the icon is pressed, message says "enabling data access" - never toggles to disabled.

Good switch....works well on ATRIX 4g. Want to see the icon change when On/Off. Maybe have some toggle thing in bottom of icon...so you can see if the data is on or off.

Everything that i can see is "enabling blah blah...." and NOTHING happen :)) please fix it. SE X8. P/s: i've already turned wifi off :|

Works great. Really slowed battery drainage! Some frustration due to significant delay in switching back on. Be nice if include note referencing allow re connection time or sumpin. Thx Dies

Neat! I like. Efficiently designed, resources wise. Seems to have issues on my Bravo though, disables but then later data is somehow back on. Ideas?

Simple and resource friendly. It worked flawlessly on my brother's phone which has Android 2.3. But it does not work on my Samsung Galaxy Chat (Android 4.1.2)

Seems to work well on my Bionic. 3g, 4g icon goes away when toggling off, comes back on when toggling on.

This APN switch was the thing I am searching over the market. It's really could turn off the data n surely will not turn on again automatically.

Finally an app that works unlike the rest. The rest of them work for like 5 seconds and you data comes back on. works great on my h t c thunderbolt!

Since the new software update came out this failed to override the controls. Update this for the new marshmallow 6.0 software and I'll re review.

Turning off 4g on my Galaxy Nexus is such a pain. One click button that turns 4g on/off and doesn't take up resources makes this a really useful app.

This app rocks for DEFY! Doubles battery life and reduces data usage of auto updating features SIGNIFICANTLY!

When pressed,it says disable,and the 3g status goes off. But when i went into networks,mobile data was still on..how so? Evo 4g.

Nice, when it works, about 20% of the time. The rest it doesn't turn on the data. Works OK to turn it off. In the end is wasting more time, and defies the purpose. Please fix.

Finally found a widget that works on the U.S. Cellular Motorola Electrify. Motorola decided to move where data gets turned off and on so the other apps don't work but this one works flawlessly and with just a touch. You don't have to go through the menu anymore. This worked fine.. But finally disabled my data connectivity and stopped working!! I had to master reset my phone to get back to normal..!! Be careful

Does not work at all been looking for a data on/off switch but after the latest update all of them seems to not work

An app that actually works...a must have to fight against the on going battery draining battle...need to distinguish between on/off on icon....

Doubled battery life by switching off 3G when not using a non wifi internet connection. This is THE best app I have installed.

LG Power - I have used app for four years and have loved it, now I am told that this device does not support the apps functions or something similar, please help, I miss it

It worked but I couldn't tell when the data was on or off by looking at the home screen. It would only pop up a short bubble message each time I switched it on or off.

Love this app. I never go over my data with it! Super easy to use. Update... Doesn't work with me os. Makes me want to throw my phone away.

Turns mobile (cell) data on/off whether you are connected to Wifi or not. Leaves Wifi settings alone.

This little app saves a tremendous amount of power! My battery was down to 50% by the end of the day. Now it's at 95%! I thought I had a virus! Tomato u rock!!!

Great Battery Saver DataSwitch makes it easy to turn 3g on or off on my Samsung Prevail with Gingerbread Android. Just tap the icon to turn 3g on... Download my email and tap the icon to turn 3g off. It uses a tiny 8kb of memory. I am unable to find the menu to do custom settings, luckily the standard setting works perfectly. This app doubles battery life from 12 hours to 24 hours by keeping 3g OFF except when I'm using the Internet or Gmail.

Very useful button in my android phone. First time was a little bit complicated to start it, but after doing exactly that the manual says: works great

My phone is a Motorola Milestone 2 (aka Droid 2). Sadly it is an App not a Widget, so there is no status displayed on the Home screen (just it's icon).
