White Noise Free

I have had this app since my almost 4 year old was a newborn and it has helped us sleep solid through many a night and naptimes. It also helped me study at school in a noisy environment. Don't know how I ever survived without it!

It shuts off off you do anything else on your phone! Why won't it stay on in the background? Very poor design. I have the version for my desktop and I love it. I love all the different sound choices, but the mobile version sucks.

Thank you. I work on nights and this app helps me to sleep throughout the day. I leave it on for nine hours straight and it doesn't drain my battery at all.

This app is perfect for me! I have an older sleep sounds unit from Sharper Image and while I still love it, one annoying thing is that you can clearly hear the repeat point of every sound. I tried downloading a couple other apps before finding this one and they had the same problem. This one plays sounds, quite literally SEAMLESSLY. If there is one frustrating thing about sleep sounds when you are insomnic is that the repeat skip can become the thing that will keep you awake!

Downloaded to keep my baby asleep and it works. I'm pretty sure the soothing sound of waves breaking on the shore are helping me to sleep too. A good range of sounds, although I've only used the ocean one.

Only downside is the free version doesn't allow you to do anything else and pauses as soon as you move away. However, it's working beautifully for helping bub stay asleep.

So useful to have on your phone. Makes sleep possible even in noisy hotels with paper-thin walls. Love that you can mix noises and that it mutes everything except for the alarm. Perfect.

Great app! You should give it a try. It would get 4.5/5 if a current bug gets fixed. Until then it's a 3. Bug report: it has recently started to cut out in the middle of the night and then pause on its own. This happens on two different devices in the same manner. I know the free version will only play with the app open on screen; this is an issue with it just cutting out on its own. Maybe look into how it handles Galaxy S5s while they update apps at night automatically. I'm thinking this might be causing it to think it is becoming minimized? It will cut in and out shortly and then stay paused. Sorry for posting all this, just not sure where else to submit bug reports for you guys. Thanks for the great app! Hopefully you fix this bug soon because currently it has been waking me up due to the bug.

It's simple in design and functions as i need it to. I dropped a star because the app won't play in the background any longer. Still great for getting to sleep but can't use it while sending messages or searching online anymore.

Love it! There is construction going on right by my place that has been waking me up early in the morning. Since using the app I have been able to sleep until my alarm goes off. It's wonderful!

I only use one sound mode + the timer, but it's simple, and works perfectly to mask outside noise till I get to sleep. Thanks for a great app!

Has to run on top of all other apps so it stops when you try to answer a txt msg etc. I assume its because it's a free version.

Their sounds are awesome. No noticeable loops or clicks. I have insomnia and while this isn't a cure, it does help and I wouldn't want to be without this app.

Great for day sleepers or anyone who likes rhythmic sounds for calm sleep. So many sounds and the custom capability is fantastic. I made a custom mix to drown out multiple frequencies for daytime sleep.

I LOVE this app. I live right next to a hospital and about three blocks away from a train yard and this app is my saving grace. I turn it on at night when I go to bed and it always works like a charm!

Great app for trouble with sleeping. Like use at work but wish audio didn't stop when minimized. Checked with power save off still stops audio.

This app is great when it works, but it lost a couple stars since it apparently quits if your phone does anything else while it's open. 5 stars if they fix it so it stays running in the background.

I have Fibromyalgia and have many painful days that make me tense.This app is so so soothing for me.I read while it plays...Or just lay down with eyes closed and it lifts me up.My Fave App!!!!

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It stops for no reason sometimes, and I have to get up to turn it back on or just leave it off. Please fix that.

This is a great app it gets me in that full experience sleep I personally love the rainstorm but I hope you guys make new noises thx for the app

Keeps shutting down for no reason. Won't stay on if you do anything with unite phone.

Helps me sleep by blocking outside sounds and tinnitus. I like a combo of pink noise and crackling fire.

Great app, helps me sleep a bit better. Gave 4 stars because only one fan sound and it has a squeak!

This is awesome. My girlfriend first showed it to me one night before bed and I've never slept better. The next day I got it and I love it. Works great with my Bluetooth speaker and the alarm is very useful.

I love this app for a work clock the only down side is lately it has been closing out at random times from the clock view. And I have to reopen the app. I have been useing this app on different phones for at least 2 years now and this has just started lately

I am a truck driver and this app works well to drunk out outside noises like refer trailers.

Great for sleep. I've used brown noise for years, in place of a box fan. Fantastic app.

Dishwasher is my favorite! Can't play noise in background while using other apps, but you can have sound while screen is off.

There's a lot of interesting sounds that apps don't normally have. Like Brown Noise, for example - that helps me sleep when I don't have my fan. And then, there's all of those nature sounds that are crisp and clean, I can't help but to feel I'm there. Easy to use app, big, interesting variety of sounds, and useful for sure. C:
