Qld Rego Check is the free and official Queensland Government (Department of Transport and Main Roads) mobile app that lets you check the registration status of cars, trucks, vessels, trailers and motorcycles.
Simply enter the Queensland registration number or vehicle identification number (VIN) to see the registration status and other unique details about the vehicle (e.g. description, purpose of use, and registration / certificate of inspection expiry date).
By searching the registration, you can make sure the registration is current prior to use.

Great app love that I can now save favorites and set reminders. However with more than 7 regos I can't have them all saved as favorites.

Just watch that the really useful reminder function by default sets the alarm time to 3am....suggest this is changed to a 'business' time.

I work at petrol station and we usually have petrol drive off now and then. During the fuel drive we supposed to call police and they used to tell us that rego number matches with the vehicle so we can file a report, but they don't anymore. Now with this app it's freely available to everyone.

The app would be improved if it could link to your calendar to set a reminder. Then again, why can't DTMR send automated SMS or email reminders direct?

Allows you to search by Plate Number or VIN. Gives the year, make and model of the vehicle; Displays the purpose of use, registration status and expiry date. So easy!

People complain cause we no longer use Rego stickers and they not know when rego is due... This is the ideal app for them ... just type in your rego number and presto ...
