Wear Hotspot

Works well. As has been pointed out, only turns tethering ON. Turning off is not a problem as my phone switches off tethering if connection is not used for a period of time - I have this set to 5 minutes.

Does not work with LG Nexus 5X. Does not turn ON or OFF.

Installed on phone. And watch. Opened on phone first and then on watch. Failed first time, but you need to check that hotspot has been turned on at least once on the phone via settings and check its configured.

Not working, I was able to use it on my Note 2, Note 3 but no go with a Moto 6 and Moto 360. Please fix!

Works fine on my OnePlus One, and you can tap again to turn the hotspot off, although it has the same weakness as many of these apps, that it does not re-enable WiFi after disabling the hotspot.

Galaxy note 4 and looking at all these other reviews this app hasn't worked for anyone in over a year.

I go to a school where cell phones are taken up during class and the wifi sucks. It would be cool if I could get my LG G watch r and droid turbo to work. I've tried and tried but it doesn't work. Once this is fixed 5 stars

I have a Nexus 6p and a Huawei watch and the app just flat out wouldn't work.

Works great for me turns off and on

Note 4 is running Kitkat, while Nexus 6 is running Lollipop 5.01

It works now! I like the uber simplicity of the app.

DOES NOT WORK ON NEXUS 6

Its not working at all with my Nexus 5 4.4.4 ..

Despite it's looks it worked flawlessly at first. Today it didn't. I even made sure the phone counterpart was actively running. I had to enable the hotspot from the phone. I could at least disable the hotspot but by then the app had lost it's purpose. Make it work, keep it free, earn 5 stars. :)

I do enjoy being able to turn it on, but it would be nice to turn it off too.

I've had two main issues: - seems like it is going to work by activating hotspot but then it gets immediately turned off. This problem does not occur when I activate on phone itself (I use T-Mobile on Note 3). - didn't manage to activate by voice even once. Google always understood "start where hotspot" everytime, and once it got "start wear hot spot", which also didn't work.

Really great idea but doesn't work on my HTC one m8.

I love the idea and it's worked about three times and was awesome, but it hasn't worked since very early on. I really really want it to work!! 2013 Moto X on 4.4.4

Worked ok at first. Then more recently does nothing when tapping the Wi-Fi icon. Frustrating to have to fiddle with the Wear app, have it fail, then pull out my phone anyway. Nexus 6, Moto 360. Happy to give 5 stars if this worked reliably.

Installed this on my Nexus 5 and worked right off the bat. Exactly what I was looking for. The one thing it's missing is an indicator of some kind while the hotspot is on - many apps have this and I don't know why this one doesn't. If that gets implemented I'd definitely give 5 stars.

Still need the fix for the Samsung S5. I've been tricked into donating twice thinking there might be an info screen behind the donation request. Happy to pay if you fix the S5 but the device app really should have some help screens/info in addition to the donation set. Thx.

Using a Moto 360 and a Samsung Galaxy S5 I got it to toggle my hotspot on without any trouble but when I turn off the hotspot via the watch it doesn't turn wifi back on. Please patch that small hole in functionality if you can.

I would love for this app to work -- great concept especially with the amount of screen taps necessary to start Hotspot on Galaxy S5. Unfortunately, doesn't work with Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Gear Live. Pushing app button on watch turns Hotspot on, but it immediately turns off again in less than a second. Please fix.

Not able to get past blue circle hotspot logo. Will change review once it does work.

Replaced a five tap process on the phone with a voice command and single tap on the watch. Great!

UPDATE: Just upgraded my phone to LG G3 and tried this app again and it works great!! It doesn't work on my G Watch connected to my VZW Galaxy S3 running latest CM 11 nightly. When I open the app on the watch it shows a white hotspot icon with the word "true" in the middle.

On nexus 5 with lg g wear saying start wear hotspot pops up a search for where hotspot. And launching on the watch manually only shows the icon touching it does nothing.... Donated 1.99. Hope this gets fixed this would be a useful tool if it worked...

Just downloaded the latest update and it does nothing. I opened the app in my phone first. The app makes you guess what voice commands works.I tried a bunch.nothing I tried did anything but search Google.

I just wish that when I switch it on it would work even when im connected to WiFi (turn off the WiFi and turn on hotspot) some of the phone toggle apps can do it. Otherwise I still have to take my phone out.

Love the app. Makes life so much easier now that I don't have to pull my phone out and navigate to my widget to turn hotspot on. I use my nexus 7 as a car computer and every time I got on to the car I have to pull out my phone. Not anymore! It would be great if you guys could work on a wemo remote as well! Thanks again!

Nexus 4, nothing happens when I press the button to toggle hotspot

I love how easy the app is to use, it doesn't have a bunch of features and I actually like that. It's simple.

Keep up the good work!

It seems to sort of work if the app is running on the phone which suggests there is something you do when the app is running that needs to be in a background service to make this reliable

and Nexus 5 running stock.

EDIT: Worked with developer through email and figured out the problem. You must have the phone app open in some capacity(on screen or in recent apps) for the watch app to function. I'll give 5 stars once this is corrected. Original: Does not work with Gear Live. Email sent to developer, will update rating if problem solved.

Great app, means leaving the phone in your pocket, which is the whole idea of wearables. Just one issue, that it doesn't turn WiFi back on after turning hotspot off. Please give option to do this.

Would be nice to trigger hotspot off using same app.
